    So much for the extra hour of sleep. At 4:30 Connie got up to use the bathroom, and Collin was stirring around going to bed (another story). Frankie was convinced it was time to get up. Sigh.... She didn't want to go out yesterday evening because of the rain. This morning, she didn't want to go out because of the rain. I don't know how much pee that dog can store up, but I'm hoping at first light, I can get her out, rain or not.

    We really need the rain. We've had half an inch since midnight, and a quarter inch yesterday. It is supposed to rain through tomorrow and we could get a total of 2-5 inches.

    Today is a rest day.

    Mornin' gents.

    I have this vision of poor Frankie crossing her legs and tucking her tail.
    3 AM wake up and then 3 plus hours of driving to and fro the airport and not near enough caffeine made for very sluggish day at the clinic. Got a quick lunch and some caffeine then traveled to a house call for a good friend. Lovely people. They, and their lovely dogs, were good stimulation for me, but I still felt drowsy on the 45 minute drive home. Hit the hay early.
    Slept in the extra hour too.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

    The shift back to standard time is always easier. Stayed up until 11, got my usual 6 1/2 hours sleep and here I am at 5, reading and typing. I hear Sassy stirring upstairs, so she'll be here for her early morning cuddle, soon.

    Watched the Ducks roll, again, yesterday. Probably won't watch the Seahawks, today. They kind of stink. I am a fair-weather fan.

    DD had a Hallowe'en party last night. Fun time.

    Church this morning and then...? May try to get in a hike on the sunny, cold day.

    Good Morning

    We had a good visit with Mom. She was awake most of the time and eat her lunch. We watched movies on TCM. We will head back this morning. We might have an offer coming on the house. Who knows.

    I mostly ignore the time change and don’t think about it. Seems to work for me. I don’t get the drama over it.
