    Good morning, folks.

We're on the train to Venice now after having run ourselves into the ground in Florence. Nothing scheduled yet for Venice, but we'll pick a couple things.

Galileo & Michelangelo tombs at Santa Croce.

    Mornin' BBB

I think the tombs of Michelangelo and Galileo were points of interest in the novel Angels and Demons, or one of that series of novels. Cool.
    That steak is magnificent.
M has Ikea on speed dial for house in Colorado, the truck with the stuff we want to keep from CT will go when we empty the house for good in CT.

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Lou has been starting us off pretty regularly this week. You'd think he is in another time zone. Thanks for sharing your journey.
    • We get on the big boat in Southhampton in 3 weeks.
    • Tough duty today, Mary.
    • I have a Swedish wife. I know Ikea.
    • If you'd spend any time on MSNBC and Fox News you'd get a totally different picture of the world.

    Good morning BBB friends.

I watch neither network. Think I'll avoid all news for the next 4+ years.

Last sunny day, today. A Sassy walk is in order.

    Morning gang

So sorry Mary. Glad you can be there for your friend.

Ron hasn't watched the news since November 2016,. He didn't even know election results until YouTube ran a banner last night. I curate mine carefully. MSM is off the rails.

Today all of my family is on the way to Lincoln for the state volleyball games. We are taking a boat ride today so will miss the first game.

In true youngest sister fashion, family of 6 is taking 4 cars. The 2 youngest kids are 11 and 12. It's a 2 hrs drive for them and assume the young adults have work/school tomorrow and her husband has clients in the area so I assume he has his work truck but still...crazy.

These are the days I still wish we lived in Nebraska.

    Well, heLL...

I thought the recent headaches were related to the stress from my fallout with my dad. However, my visit with the cardiologist today revealed significant plaque blockage in two arteries. He wants to do a cardiac catheterization and possibly a stent placement next Thursday!

Doc is 100% certain that this is the cause of headaches and chest tightness.

    ugh

    Good Afternoon,
I see good and bad in each party and in my opinion neither is without fault.
Anyway I was called in to sub at high school this morning for a government class, careful not to express my opinion on election but tried to get students interactive on election. Mainly looking at campaign promises and what was legal and what could and could not be done by person making promises. I took notes and left for teacher to explain what could and could not be done or how promise could be achieved; know he will appreciate that, HA! No I know teacher and he is very good and will cover with students. And I explained to students the pendulum swings both ways and everything will change which is what makes our country so great.
Very damp here today, fine mist was to be gone by 9 this morning no one told clouds.
I have never been to Ikea, mainly because neither DW nor myself like to shop and do not like going into Atlanta.
    Thanks for pictures Lou.
I limit myself to 30 minutes of news a day, I feel that lets me know what is going on.
