- #FakeNews 🇺🇸. Counting my newest acquisition - #37.
- Thinking about selling Vette. Its costing $350 a month for storage and cleaning. Pushing DW to hurry up and determine our "final landing spot" - my only requirement: big garage; small yard; pool (and prefer NO damm HOA)!
- Today is prep day for tomorrow's "procedure" - if nothing else, this little scare has has me hawkishly tracking points. WI on Friday morning should be another good'n. On pace to have dropped #20 by Thanksgiving Friday and #25-#30 by Christmas.
- Grenadier is in shoppe for tint and ceramic all week. Hope to get it back next Mon/Tues.
Cheers,
Skipper0 -
Good luck with the prep.
That’s a sweet ride. Nice.
Easy day today for me as was yesterday. Woot.0 -
Good morning.
Good luck with the prep, Skip.
I still mourn the loss of my Fusion. Best car I ever had. Very close second was my Ford Explorer Sport. The current Ford Edge is my 9th car.
EEG showed no ongoing seizure activity, so they discharged him and sent him home with a list of docs to follow up with. He can't drive for 3 months now, so not sure how he'll do his job because it involves driving to workplaces of Easter Seals placements of folks as a case manager.
I spent some time yesterday giving him a crash course on ADA and FMLA compliance so he'll understand that if a bus can get him to their office to empty trash cans, that's a reasonable accommodation. Etc.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Sorry about your brother, Lou. Hope he finds a good way forward.
I too am at nine vehicles, but I am 74. Bought my first car 54 years ago (1966 Plymouth Valient Signet, $590). Most of my vehicles have stayed in my possession for well over 10 years. Skips rarely seem to make 10 months. I, for one, admire Skips passion. Enjoy the journey, I say.
Hope the stent prep is going well, Skip.0 -
Good morning BBB Friends.
- I thought I was going to be able to sleep in this morning but remembered an 8am Dr. appt. for a renal scan. I need to go back tomorrow for an echo scan. Can't do both on the same visit due to some insurance nonsense.
- Skip, considering your rapid turnover of vehicles does the ceramic coating make sense?
- Having lunch at a pizza place in Athens today with some neighborhood guys. Most of them are carpooling but my riding buddy and I are taking the motorbikes.
- Best of luck tomorrow, Skip. I'll include you and Lou's DB in my prayers.
- A pic of our AFJROTC Color Guard with our WWII Vet.

Morning gang
I slept terrible last night. Woke with a bad dream at midnight and then proceed to toss and turn for what felt like hours. Haven't checked my oura ring yet but expecting a very low number...it's pretty accurate at tracking sleep.
Spanish class soon then helping set up for a fundraiser after lunch. Maybe a nap in between.0 -

Did not know there was any prep for cath and stent other than nothing by mouth 12 hours prior to procedure.
Good Luck tomorrow
Bet Tom will be glad to get home,
I've had too many vehicles to count, at one time parents told me I had to sale four vehicles and get them out of their yard.0
