Good morning gentlemen.

The bazaar went well, yesterday. We took home more than we have the last two years. It was funny, too. Last year I had a platter I loved and did not really want to sell, so I put what was, for me, a very high price on it - and someone bought it. This year, I had a truly impressive natural edge vase turned from a black locust burl - maybe the best thing I have ever turned. I put the highest price I ever have on anything - and it sold. Now, I know that my highest prices are still far below what I have seen on similar pieces in downtown galleries, but these sales still; surprised me. Kind of bitter-sweet. Sorry to not have these items where I can enjoy them but gratified to pass them on to someone else to treasure.

I hope you feel better soon Steve. I suddenly came down with an achy cold/flu like think yesterday afternoon. It went away after 4 hours resting on the couch. It must of been something I ate. I watch the Oregon football game yesterday, I generally stopped watching football 6-7 years ago. Oregon didn't look much like a #1 team. I was in Trader Joes a few hours before the game. It was packed, primarily with folks flying Oregon gear loading up on snacks for the game. House search is on hold while Heather is gone unless we decide to agree on one we have seen. My favorite one just sent their improvement list which looks really good. Just waiting to hear why the roof is being replaced. Nothing planned today beyond laundry, my noviate study and some dulcimer time.
