Hope you follow up with a head doctor for those headaches. Good you got the carotids cleaned up, but it doesn't sound like they were the root of the headache issue.
Sam, do you feel like the shoulder is getting better in spite of physical torture?
I like the cold soup thing, but it is definitely a seasonal thing. Gazpacho and cucumber soup are also quite good on warm days.

Sorry about the ongoing headaches, Skip.
I grew up with a mother who was a home economics major in college. She never tired of trying out new things, so I was exposed to an endless variety of experiments, including all kinds of cold soup. I love that my horizons were expanded but, leave cold soups in the same pile as tomato flavored Jello with imbedded vegetables as things best left to memory.
After our green chili discussion, I made a pot of white-bean, chicken chili last night. Leftovers today.
The Wednesday trip to Salem is now planned for Thursday. The estate sale people are pricing everything Wednesday and want us to review the prices. Need to meet with the realtor, too, to sign a contract, so he can place pre-listing flyers in the house during the estate sale this weekend. Things are moving along.
It is forecast to be a stormy day around here. Some areas could see winds up to 80 mph. I'll work in my shop and pray the power doesn't go out.

Skip I hope they figure out your headaches. I should look into the carrot recall. I bought a big bag at Sam's yesterday. Packaging was all in English.
We are heading out for a bike ride soon. Then Spanish class this afternoon.
Then I need to do a clothing inventory. I used to only have 16 things but have added several in the past year. If we are flying again soon need to pare back down. Hoping to be 20# lighter by then so currently owned pants fit better. I squeezed them on this week but wearing while sitting would be torture. We plan to spend a week or so in the US so time for shopping or shipping if needed.0 -

Good Afternoon,
Lee, parts of shoulder are better, and parts are worst. Rotator cuff is much better, issue is shoulder and arm bones have no cartridge therefore any movement is rubbing bone against bone. Seeing doctor tomorrow.
Skip have you seen a neurologist for headaches?
Pablo's physical went great, good for year; 23.6 lbs.

Good evening
Seems this Thursday morning is when the 1st winter storm plans to hit us here. Right now it's in the 50s. Crazy temp swings, like happened here in Spring. 40 degree dips within 24hours.
I am closet shopping and have 3 sizes of smaller clothes, that I can hopefully wear someday again. I'm down into the next smaller size pants and tops now. Hoping my winter jacket will finally fit me again this winter. Last winter it never came out of the closet. Too small. I refused to buy a new one. I just layered up with big sweatshirt jacket etc. Brrrr
I think dh is going to come home to sleep rest of the week. Yay!!! He was taking his sister to Costco tonite and will see how that goes for her.
So, I'm hosting 12 for Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday. And now have 10 for supper the Wednesday night before. Some family want to come over to visit ds1 while he is here. So hey why not stay for supper! I'm a glutton for punishment. But am happy to have them over too!
Only 16 pcs of clothing Steph! Woah thats amazing ! Talk about minimalist living!
Hope you get rid of your headaches Skip. Do you take blood pressure meds? Sometimes those meds need to be switched after time???
