    Good morning!

Mike, congratulations on the piano. That is exciting! Here in KC, we have a moving and storage company that specializes in moving pianos. We used them to move Connie's baby grand. Hers is a Baldwin. If you call a local piano store, I am sure they have someone that they recommend.

Connie and I went out for dinner last night. It was very nice just to get away. We had the best fish and chips that I think we have ever had. Very nice!

It is cold here in Kansas. We have gone from a warm autumn straight into winter. But, it is supposed to be 60 again by Sunday, before it gets really cold again for Thanksgiving.

Speaking of Thanksgiving, I'm headed to the grocery store today for a turkey breast.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

Got busy and never posted after starting us off yesterday.
Picking up M at the airport this afternoon, then taking her out to dinner on the way home. Hope it is as good as the Kansas fish and chips. It might be at a tacoria.
"I look forward to hearing how you MacGyver the move of that piano up to your apartment, Mike."
Pretty funny, Dave, I was thinking the same thing!
Little white dogs always seem tobe prone to the post vaccine site soreness. Hope it is better today.
Do they biopsy before performing the lumpectomy? I thought that the SOP with early detection of breast lumps was to remove the lump (if found early), then send whole tissue sample to the lab to find out what kind of tumor. Fine needle aspirates are notoriously inaccurate. Prayers for a smooth process and a good outcome, Sam.

    Onward and downward ;-)

Getting some rain today and next few days, the first significant amount since August I think. Never thought I'd be so glad to see a rainy day!

Sam, prayers for DW, and for yourself too. Hope it all works out.

Well, nearby piano mover wants almost $600 just to haul the Steinway beast up my stairs after I get it here! Now inquiring cost if he moves it from RI to here. Probably twice what I paid for the piano...Will talk to DSIL (former NFL player) to see what he thinks about his two sons (football stars in highschool and college) doing it. He used to own a similar "upright grand" piano himself. Might have to move it to one of DK's homes if stairs here are insurmountable and over-budget. I've been mulling moving to a small house anyway.

Piano class cancelled today, teacher took a personal day. Will catch up on laundry and household chores watching the rain outside.

    Good morning gentlemen.

Rita went through a biopsy then lumpectomy many years ago. Pretty traumatic. It turned out benign. Hope you see a similar outcome, Sam.

A small house would better accommodate your canoe and camping equipment, too, Mike.

I need to be on the road for Salem by 7 this morning and overslept until 6. I woke at 2, then tossed and turned until 4, when I fell asleep. Glad for the two hours of rest but have to rush now. We're going over the pricing for this weekend's estate sale, and signing a contract with a realtor for listing the house.

    Good Morning,
Around here pool tables and pianos get left behind or they pay someone to haul away. We once had an upright piano with a bronze harp, had a hard time selling it, they took apart to move; it was heavier than grand that DMIL had.
Wishing you a safe and productive trip Dave.
Pablo is walking on leg unless he thinks DW is watching then he hops.
We are going to Costco and Kroger this afternoon, preparing meal for lodge Monday then kids and family coming for thanksgiving.

Pianos are just not fun to move for sure.
    Safe travels Dave.
MY DW got pretty sick from the anesthesia for a lumpectomy and also for the mastectomy too.

Hey lots of Ts and Ps for all and their loved ones.

    Good Morning

I would have to agree that a 3rd story condo doesn't seem to fit your lifestyle, Mike. Pianos, camping gear and canoeing beg for more space and less stairs.

I got a text this AM from my Calif realtor. Our townhouse appraised for at least what we were selling it for, the loan is approved and they would like to move up the closing. An easy yes in response. I did a drive by viewing of three properties in Florence yesterday. All were in good shape in established, well maintained neighborhoods. Heather asked me to get with the realtor to view before she returns even though she is going to want to see them. Realtor is taking the weekend off to travel and is jammed up this week so I am setting it up for next week rather than try to coordinate with the listing agents.
