Opps, added incorrectly last time.but my ticker is correct now, Wishing everyone a restful and reflective Thanksgiving. I am so grateful for my husband. my church family and friends who have been there for me when I lost my ties with family. They are slowly being rebuilt, but will, bnever be the same.
I am scrambling to get things in order as I will be heading to surgery Jan 13 to repair my damaged shoulder. Found a new ortho surgeon who can repair my two torn Rotwtor Cuff tendons that my other doctor insisted was just impingement syndrome, Two year living with two torn tendons. As Janet said, “Let go of the dogs when they decide to go after something.” I am grateful for my PA getting me the MRI to prove I was not making up my injury. The new doc said that he is amazed that I have good strength in the shoulder and minimal pain. He said that I would lose 5% strength in it each year without repair. I want to be able to continue to function in years to come, I have to keep thinking, what needs to be done now that I will not be able to do in an April. Much of it is my garden preparation.
Nov. 26. 8.75 miles today and my bad knee felt it.
Ttd: 164.5 mikes

CONGRATS to @TAHM42 for smashing her GOAL!!!
Thanks for sharing that, @CLEPANT. reflecting on all that has happened in the last year, I too have much to be grateful for. While my wife and I both have had our share of health challenges, there have also been a lot of good things. My children seem to be happy and thriving. As a parent, what more could I ask for? I’m looking forward to the next year and what it may bring.
Wishing you all a Happy Thanksgiving tomorrow!
Dave
