Pearl Harbor day. Kids really need to learn civics and history, so we don’t repeat it.

Restless night. Woke and thought it must be almost dawn and then heard the clock strike 12. Up at 2:30 and again finally at 4:30. Ughhh.

Hoping to test moving equipment on DD’s piano today but haven’t heard back from them. Both are busy working a lot.

Bill, hope urologist finds nothing serious.

    Onward and downward…

    Good morning!

I had a chance to see the Pearl Harbor Memorial in 1984. I remember it as being an amazing experience. In 1987, I had a chance to see the Hiroshima Memorial. That experience was haunting.

My ribs are still really hurting. I will get a wrap for them today before sitting in the car for several hours.

Warmer and sunshine today. It should be a great day to go to the NWR and see birds.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Hope you find a good urologist, Bill.

Picked up the grandkids yesterday. Have to take them to the fire station this afternoon as both of them are playing in their school marimba band for the Tumwater Christmas Tree Lighting. Of course, this event overlaps with my Ducks playing in the conference championship game. That's why they make DVRs.

Our week of dry weather has come to an end, too. It's a steady, cold rain this morning. Sigh.

    Good Morning

We had a good day yesterday. After a nice lunch in old town, the house inspection went well, a few things were noted that need attention which we will discuss but said the house was overall in very good shape. He was kind enough to explain some things about living in an Oregon house vs what we are used to in California. We also got a chance to measure everything and take a look a bit more closely. We are very happy to be getting this house. The Urologist office was closed and I wasn't doing so well so we headed over to the Medical Center. They had a walk in clinic. We got registered and seen in a little over an hour and were out the door about 30 min later. Too much blood in my urine for their machines to be able to analyze so they sent it out but it appears to be a nasty infection and they shot me full of antibiotics and gave me a prescription for 10 days more. At my request he is referring me to a Urologist so I can get back into that care. We were more than impressed. The Dr lives just north of where we are staying and gave us a pizza recommendation which Heather will want to try. Otherwise we are staying home this rainy day. We had talked about going to Florence's Holiday celebration but it is a bit of a drive and the rain doesn't help. I may need to track down and watch the Oregon game.

    Evenin' gents.

Pearl Harbor Day and Steve's memories of the memorials brings up huge wells of emotion for me. I am a proponent of a strong defense, and yet, I hate the idea of war.
Yikes, Bill. Curious as to which antibiotic they put you on.
I can only imagine how enthralled Sassy gets with the grands. The mental image makes me smile.
I worked until about 2 pm today, came home and grabbed the girls for a quick afternoon hunt. We had harvested two pheasant in 10 minutes and were done. I rarely hunt the girls at the same time because it can be a bit chaotic, but it worked in our favor this afternoon. I wasn't feeling like taking the time it takes to hunt them separately, but I was hoping to get in a little bit more than a 10 minute walk.

    Onward and downward ;-)
