Good morning!
No superstitions here, but all in fun with Friday the 13th.
Cold and wet here in Kansas. It is a good day to stay inside today.
I only felt my ribs a couple of times yesterday, and not any sharp pain. I am thankful.
I went to the dentist yesterday for the first time in over a year. I was so good, that he is going to give me a crown. Ugh.
Prayers continue for Joanne.
The Christmas wreath is beautiful!
Have a great day!0 -

They love to crown you problem is cost attached, thankfully majority of my teeth are crowned now.
Cold here this morning but sunny so should warm into mid 50's.
All test that have been ordered except for MRI has been done and cannot get that done till next Friday.
Doctors will get together next Thursday and come up with treatment plan, appointment Friday afternoon after MRI. They want to start treatment before first of year.
Thanks for prayers.0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
I have several crowns and have learned that they can wear out. One that has lasted was a gift from an Army dentist. When he learned that I was retiring he told me I had a tooth that would need a crown in a few years, so he went ahead and built on while I was still on active duty. It is my only gold crown, and it has held up for 25 years.
Planning more shop time, today. It's getting chilly out there, though. I have a pair of electric space heaters I use. Time to crank up the second one, I think. My hands get cold otherwise, and I lose dexterity.0 -
Good Morning
I am glad to hear that the treatment planning and rollout is moving along.
I have crowns, and definetly need to get to a dentist, after I get going with my other Drs and get tests ordered etc. Slow day yesterday. After grocery shopping my stomach flared up which shut me down for the rest of the day. So today is cleaning and organizing. I bought a couple poinsiettas and a Grinch Christmas tree yesterday to complete our holiday decorating. Got an email yesterday that requested repairs are about done, with a window repair being scheduled. That's the only contingency left open so it looks like we are on track to close next Thursday at last and take the keys on the 23rd.0 -
Sounds great Bill with your new house plans.
sometimes crowns and repairs last a long time. I had a temporary 3/4 crown cleaned, sanitized and re-cemented by a dentist in Australia as a "temporary fix" that lasted just fine another 20 years or so.
Chilly and wet here in the upper 30s/low 40s. Not a great bike ride but OK.
Off to Columbia employees store (right here in Beaverton OR where I live) today with a couple of passes we got.0
