Met the neighbor, yesterday. Kind of a cranky old sot, but I think we will ne friends. Birds of a feather and all that.
Says our little slice of heaven used to be crawling with rattle snakes, but with the development of 5 acre plots over the years has significantly affected the rattler population in a negative way. Thank God the girls haven't seen one yet.
Christmas dinner was nice. Somebody stole the show as usual.

Morning BBB
Said goodbye to many friends last night. This move is by far the hardest in 6 years. I'm excited to be traveling again but really connected with this community.
Today off to the gym...we have to cancel our membership today. Hopefully my spanish is good enough to make that happen.
Then getting the car detailed inside and out. It is covered in 9 months of sand and fine dirt. We have washed the outside a time or two but never the inside. Have a wash and wax scheduled in the states too...supposed to store them clean. It will be roughly $500 pesos here ($25... that includes tip ) and $85-120 in Houston.0 -

Great time, yesterday, fun with the grandkids, hours spent just talking with DS and DDIL, ending with game time with all six of us. Ate way too much, with leftovers waiting today, but that will come off quickly, I am sure.0 -

Lazy morning with my book. I expect the rest of day to be more of the same. With a long walk outside in between. Tge guys gave lots of leftovers to eat. This cook is on leave.
Very foggy here as a warm front moves in with rain tomorrow.
I'm going to spend my day off on Friday with my dgs Lil T Jr. Can't wait to play with his new puzzles and duplo blocks. He loves our one on one play dates. As do I.
