Mornin' BBB
Skip must have gotten distracted. Hope it wasn't a Tucker GI incident or the HOA Karen knocking on his door to complain about a too bright porch light.
Mild head cold is annoying me.
Used up all my points last week. Tracked every morsel. Not pretty.
Safe travels to Ron and Steph.
M didn't get to see DGS yesterday, so is suffering withdrawal.
Tomorrow is her birthday. Celebrating her B-day on New Year's Eve has always been problematic.
Girls are still adjusting to not being able to sleep with me. M decided no dogs in bed in new house. Funny, she was the one who snuck them into bed when I mandated no dogs in bed when we first married.

Morning from Van Horn TX. Border crossing went well...line was less than 30 minutes long. No stops except for gas and bathroom so made really good time. We even got off the interstate for a n hour around El Paso and drove right by the border 'wall'. Didn't know they used blimps to monitor. Saw 3.
Today's drive is only about 6 hours. We have a hotel booked in San Antonio. Hotel very near a shopping center with many stores we need plus, international drivers license and flu, covid and yellow fever vaccine planned today. I only have hotel booked one night but if we are feeling bad from vaccine we will stay another noght. Only real reason to get to Houston on 31 is to pick up our mail as the ups store is. Lived on Jan 1 and we pay $5 /day to store it.0 -
Good morning BBB friends.
Glad the border hassles were minimal, Steph. We liked San Antonio. Houston? Not so much. Texas is big. You drive all day and you're still in the same state.
It's 38 degrees and raining, right now. Not very pleasant. So it goes.
I need to clear out all the shavings in the shop, to make room for more, then Rita will tell me what we are doing this afternoon.0 -
Good morning
I'm off work today, but see I need to send out an urgent quote. I'll get that done and resume my day off. I have plans to read my book I'm half way through.
Glad all is well with Steph and Ron's road trip.
I am spending tomorrow with my dgs. Yay! I can relate to the other Gma M missing her
Dgs...
I'm in the no dogs in my bed camp. Then I met ddils doodle and since she doesnt shed and isn't here often, she's allowed. My black lab slept in the kids beds only. Or on the couch she wasnt supoose to get up on. Lol
Be well BBB

GM~
Fell asleep directly after the Commanders/Falcons game and overslept this morning after walking Tucker!
Glad to hear you are both on US soil again, Steph! Woot!
WITW did Ms. Indiana disappear to? What offensive thing did you say, Lou? (JK).
How you feeling Sam?
ANXIOUSLY awaiting an important call this week. Fingers crossed. Shall see.
Safe trek, Doc! Hope that gals aren't too angry with you for snubbing them out bed.
Cheers,

Good Morning,
New Year's Eve, Eve.
Had breakfast with some old men from neighborhood this morning.
Allergies still bothering me but no signs of infection now. DW still very congested
Quite week, DW has another scan at hospital in Athens Friday, three appointments next Monday then starts chemo Tuesday.
Sun shining clear skies mid-sixties this afternoon.
New Year's Eve plans call for me to be in bed by normal bedtime 10.0 -
Good morning
Make sure to wave at me as you scoot past Austin, Steph. It's going to be 88* for some dumb reason.
A win is a win, except when it costs you the #1 overall draft pick. Of course, the Giants would probably have chosen poorly anyway.
