Good morning!
Frankie let me sleep in until 7:00.
Bill, you are rapidly becoming an Oregonian.
Lee waved (sent a quick text) as he was driving past my house on I-70. Safe travels, friend.
Several tasks on the schedule today. I am SO thankful that my rib is feeling better. The hardest part for me is to be careful and not try to lift or to do too much. I also have to be very careful not to let the dog pull too hard on me, or for me to trip while outside.
Bob, you were up very early this morning. I hope your appointment goes well.
Sam, sending really cold weather to you next week. We are expecting snow this weekend, and highs in the teens next week.
Connie and I packed a light lunch and had an in the car picnic at the lake (pond for Mike) yesterday. It was sunny and not bitterly cold. It was very nice.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Well, yesterday was a bust for me, football-wise. Guess I'll root for the Buckeyes from her on.
Glad the rib is better, Steve.
That's an early eye appointment, Bob.
Bill, glad you're getting things settled in Florence. We took the keys for a house before out furniture arrived a couple times. We ended up camping inside - sleeping on the carpet in sleeping bags. No Air B and Bs back then.
After I bailed out of the Rose Bowl slaughter, I spent a couple hours cleaning one end of the shop. I can see the floor! More to do today. Rita is packing up Christmas decorations, though we used to always leave them up until 12th Night.0 -
Good Morning
We are long past camping on the floor age. Yesterday, we left for a 1st Day hike when the Rose Bowl started. By the time we were done and had reception, the destruction of the Ducks had just finished. I will skip watching highlights. Kudos to Ohio State. Yesterday was not a productive one, we started late after watching the Rose Parade which used to be a family ritual. We ended early to head up the coast 30min for the hike and kept running into little snags inbetween. But today boxes will be unpacked in the kitchen, the alarm system will be installed and cardboard will be flattened and moved to the garage. We enjoyed our hike, though the State Ranger was a no show. But it was a simple trail right along the coast and the drizzle let up. And I am always happy by the ocean. Longest I have walked in a while with only some problems. 2-3" of rain is forecast for today so it is a good day to stay inside and make progress.0
