- Lou - sounds like the pup is giving you a run for your money!!! Tucker decided to play spin around and around and around and around this morning trying to find the perfect spot to do his biz. Not mindful that it was only 20 degrees out and poor ole dad was freezing his baguettes off!
- Late night out with friends. GA upset was a shocker. I didn't have Notre Dame beating the Dawg's. Sorry, Dennis! Not really following the games today. Anxious to see how Ohio State and Texas do next week.

Good morning.
The dog is allergic to beef and chicken and shows no interest in peanut butter. May go get some cheese slices and see if he's into that. We need something to bury his pills in.
The ND/GA game was beautiful you watch if you're one of those folks who believes the SEC is overrated in the BCS system. All those people giving IU grief about losing to ND and saying they shouldn't have been in can all sit down now.0 -

Dennis and I can slink away and comfort each other for our teams' playoff failures.
Rita has a new resolution to walk every day. With rain all morning, I am hoping I can get her to take our daily in the afternoon. I don't mind walking in the rain, but I don't like to leave Sassy at home, and she is a pain to dry after a rainy walk. It would be easier if she didn't hate blow dryers.0 -

Dawgs just were not into game last night, couple of fumbles did not help.
Lee, I wish you had some of deer we have here, they know we cannot shoot them, so they just waltz around the neighborhood; of course, it does not help that some feed them.
DW has kidney scans today and exterminator making quarterly visit today.
Hoping for quiet weekend.
Went and got DMIL for New Years lunch Wednesday, did not wear or bring her hearing aid' could not understand anything being said. She did bring a large purse that contained two other purses. She sat in great room chair and dumped purses out three times then decided she had to go downstairs; opened door and did not close so what ever could come in. DW found open when putting leftovers in fridge downstairs. After I took her back to personal care home she called DW said she left hearing aid here. Then proceeded to call other daughter and tell her she needed to call police to come look for her hearing aid. Then called nephew who lives in Shavannah to tell him he needed to call police to come go through trash and find her hearing aid. She found her hearing aid on table beside her chair but still has not told us she found it.

- Yeh, the football game was painful. I think the young QB is going to be really good next year.
- The playoffs had a new format this year. All four teams that had first round byes lost in the first game they played. The extra week off does not appear to be an advantage.
- Joanne is in my thoughts and prayers. It will work out okay.
- Emma hated taking pills too. We used to hide them in cheese or crush them and put in her food. The girl liked to eat.

It's Friday!
I spent the morning cleaning out my inbox, my desk, organizing and setting up 2025 electronic folders etc. Recvd an $8k order too. FL owner and family are skiing in Vail til Mon. So the order will wait. Nice tho I caught a little fish this early in the year.
Yeap, the Liverwurst only use is to give dogs pills in lol. Blah
May use a $50 dinner gift card out tonite. A Hawaiian place.
I'm back at my Dec 20th weight. Lost 2lbs this week. Now to keep the downward trend.
Lunch was a nice throw together hodge podge. I roasted cubed sweet potatoes this morning. Then tossed those with chickpeas, artichoke hearts, thin red onion chopped, thin celery chopped, cilantro, feta cheese, a drizzle of blood orange olive oil and drizzle of pomegranate balsamic. Yum, it was outstanding! So filling too!
