    Good morning!

The last time that we were in a blizzard warning was 2018. It started as freezing rain yesterday, and we are expecting a foot of snow before it is finished. I had Collin take Frankie outside yesterday from noon on. This morning I was afraid to take her outside, but we have an inch or so of snow now and I felt somewhat comfortable walking on the snow. We stepped out the front door. She then wandered around the front yard, did her business, and then took off fast for the back. I did not attempt to follow her. I went inside, took off my boots, and then let her in the deck door. I can't take chances with falling again right now.

The Chiefs made it to Denver after a long delay at the airport.

    Hunkered down in Kansas.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Yeah, Steve, looks like a rough day in your parts. Stay safe. Aren't you glad you're retired now and don't have to think about a commute tomorrow morning?

Very mile here this morning a warm front came through overnight. I went to bed at 42 degrees and awoke to 49.

Church this morning, then the boss has plans for our afternoon. I'd rather stay home and watch football. Sigh.

Been churched, moved to high school 425 this morning, new record. Hoping by end of September our church home will be ready.
No more plans for today other than fixing lunch and supper which will be whatever SWMBO desires.
She has 3 doctors appointments tomorrow then starts chemo Tuesday.
Steve had ask you to keep cold and winter mix up there, looks as we are getting later in week.

    Good Morning

Once again I am reminded of one of the reasons I left the east coast for sunny California 46 years ago. Bill doesn't do snow, but is learning how to do rain. Heather stayed at the rental to rest her sore ankle so I headed over to the house. We should finish the few boxes to unpack today. Some are tucked into closets since we can't unpack them till the furniture and the bulk of the boxes arrive at the end of the week. My son has taken advantage of the separate office and set up his work station and is able to work long hours comfortably. Most of his stuff & furniture is packed in the pod with ours. Food slipped out of control yesterday. No excuse, just an old habit of making an easy decision with an achy back with the fun of organizing boxes and stuff at the house.

Oh totally true Steve. You can't afford to fall for sure!!!
Wow just read up on Kansas City Chiefs and their travel woes going to Denver. YIKES!
Yup my temp went up over night too to 49 degrees first thing this a.m.

Hang in there snowyjr1 sounds like a lot of snow.

Sending lots of Ts and Ps for your DW Sam as she starts chemo.

Hang in there Bill with your new digs on the horizon. Always tough to move.

I lived in Chicago from about 1946 to 1951 so know what cold weather and snow is all about!!

Enjoying our dry spell starting much of today and continuing forward.

Mornin… er, afternoon. Missed another day posting somehow.

Surprised myself this morning when scale said I’d lost another 4 lbs. woot!
Drove to Sandwich to see DGS play hockey. They did great. Young kids can skate better than I ever will.

    Stay warm and safe everyone.
