@SummerSkier, Thank you for the wise words! I agree that diet is more important than exercise. I have been following a strict, healthy diet for many years and have never eaten forbidden foods my body cannot tolerate. I used to skip exercise when I felt sick, but I will try to do gentle moves on a stability ball next time I get the flu.

My problems are nuts and fruits. They are healthy but contain too many calories.

    Exercised? ✅ 20 min walking/dancing
    Calories?
    Tracked?
    Pass Days? Zero

@SummerSkier Thank you for the beautiful reminder. I like how you summed up the UAC so succinctly:
This is what the beauty of the UAC is. It has a 3 fold approach to accountability which shows us that it is not just the 20 min which is the magic, but all 3 together. The tracking, the budget and the activity.
and you're 100% correct. I don't always manage all 3, but I certainly aim for all 3 every day! And interestingly, nowadays when I do take a pass day, it's typically just one or two no's rather than three. Used to be, I would tell myself that if I missed one of the 3 goals, I might as well take a pass day on the other two and get my money's worth haha. I have since learned not to smash the entire set of dinner plates just because I accidentally broke one. (I can't remember now who said that, but it has stuck with me.)

    No exceptions. No excuses. 🥑
    💖 Discipline is self-love. 💝

"...I have since learned not to smash the entire set of dinner plates just because I accidentally broke one. (I can't remember now who said that, but it has stuck with me.)..."

"...Or consciously roll down the stairs just because, I missed one stair..."

Hahaha, I was the one that said it. I am glad it stucked with you :)
This is what I like about this UAC. The wisdom, the encouragements, the indirect positive influences we gain by checking in each day is immense. I have personally gain so much from everyone that have been in this UAC since I joined this group. Thank you a tous. God bless you all.

YES!!! @victorious55 Thank you for reminding me it was you who said that! I think about this concept all the time and believe me when I say that you have saved my bacon more than once! Thank you for that. I love that we in the UAC all get to give and gain wisdom and joy from each other :) The stair image is funny and powerful, too.

@Lynne10010 You can do it. One thing at a time, just like last time you got into the swing of things. And every time you have to reset, it will get easier because you will have more practice. Until some day, when you realize you are "suddenly" able to reset quickly and easily. It's all about practice and sticking with it.
