    What a mess outside. 6" and still coming down.
    Tucker less than impressed trying to find a place to do his business.

    Crocs are only okay when mowing the lawn, Skip. And that's only because you can hose them off.

    The cold arrived here and Leo in his ugly sweater was mercifully all business this morning.

    Sassy loves snow. Thankfully, there is none here, anyway, and none in the long-range forecast.

    Glad to see the greatest Duck of all time, Marcus Mariota, saved the day for the Commanders, yesterday. With Bo Nix and Justin Herbert shining, too, it was a good day for former Oregon quarterbacks.

    It will be cool, but dry, in Tumwater today. The agenda includes walking, banking, shopping and shop, in that order.

    • Breakfast with the ROMEOs
    • Cleaning crew is here now.
    • Odd day weather wise. 60° when I got up and the front was passing through. It will be 41° at 5pm and 31° at 11pm. Cold week ahead.
    • English language is strange. Among Dave's list of activities today was "shopping and shop". I first thought he made a mistake and but then I realized what my West Coast friend was up to.
    • Leo is getting settled in it appears.
    • Note to NOVA friend. Crocs are not snowshoes.
    • Stay warm in IN, WI, CT and VA.

    So cold in Indiana and we got slammed! About 1 ft of snow and no one is allowed on the roads but emergency vehicles.

    A plow hadn’t even touched our street yet and it’s about 4 pm.

    We got nothing here. Lake Michigan MKE beach shoreline got 3-4 inches. I'm 25min drive nw from there. Still see the browning lawn here.

    I hear DC is getting a second school snow day closure Tues.

    Vegtable beef soup for dinner tonite, and it turned out great. Did it in the crock pot after browning cubed sirloin, onions, etc first stove top. Added beef broth, Celery,carrots,peas,corn, potato.
    Yummmm yum, piping hot on a cold evening.
