Chiefs and Eagles in the Superbowl. Deja vu.
Sorry to hear that the GI issues are still plaguing you, Bill. That has to be frustrating.
Made a white bean chicken chili last night using chukar partridge breasts and legs. Simple recipe that I have made multiple times before. Good eats and point friendly.
Onward and downward ;-)0 -
Good morning!
Frankie let me sleep past 6:30 this morning. I don't know what to do.
OK, I am happy for the Chiefs, but maybe even I would like to see someone else succeed now. I feel bad for the Bills fans. Josh Allen is a very good quarterback.
Today is house cleaning day. It is difficult to look forward to cheering about dusting and cleaning the bathroom.
Prayers for Sam, Joanne, DMIL, continue. Prayers also for Bill and digestive issues.
Have a great day!0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Well, I like KC, so I was happy they won a very good game. I have always disliked both DC and Philly but was rooting for the underdog. So, it goes.
Still suffering a nasty head cold. I feel human when medicated and sipping a hot drink.
I too made white bean, chicken chili last night. I don't really have a recipe. I chop up a bunch of peppers (Anaheim peppers from our garden and kept in the freezer) onion and garlic. Sweat those a bit, then add a couple cans of beans, some cumin, chili powder and green Tabasco. Throw in whatever chicken I have, add enough chicken broth to give it the texture I want, and let it simmer for 20 minutes. Serve with some light sour cream. Proportions are strictly by eye and guesstimate. It is pretty point friendly, as well as warming and tasty. leftovers for supper tonight.

Good Morning,
DMIL did apologize to head lady but did not apologize to residents that she disrupted.
Had breakfast with ROMEO's this morning.
Cooking for lodge tonight.
Tomorrow will have to be up early to get DW to chemo, she has a scarf she is wearing now says she does not want a wig, may change mind when she goes past window at cancer center.
Get feeling better Dave, slow improvement Bill prevents aches and pain, Steve you are welcome to come clean here any day0 -
Good Morning
I don't really follow football but I was hoping for the Bill's to breakthrough. I would hate to see Josh Allen go down the Marv Levy/Jim Kelly road.
Prayers for Joanne, Sam, peace for DMIL and all in the group who are ailing. Yesterday, we just did things around the house at a restful pace and didn't get out. Today is an exciting trip to Fred Meyer for groceries and menu planning and some progress here. We will get out for a walk of some sort.0 -
Yeah I feel bad for the Bills fans too. I really does seem like the hard calls do "always" go the way of the KC Chiefs.
So Bill ya asked about storing bikes in a rainproof shed. I would think just fine as long as the chains have been lubed a bit before storage. I have had chains show a pinch of rust in my garage when I put them aside for a bit without sufficient lube, but they were OK after lubing and moving them around after their brief rust color stain.
Sorry about your digestive issues and just so thankful I mostly don't have them myself.
Indeed the Dunes in So Oregon are amazing indeed.
Gosh Sam you all are hanging in there with the DMIL issues.
Prayers for Joanne especially in her hour of need.
My PSA test was better last week and I seem to be doing OK
Hang in there and stay warm and comfy all!
