    Good morning!

It is hard for me to believe that January is almost past us now.

I have an appointment this morning with my friend the dentist. He is going to fill a couple of surface cavities. I could not be happier.

We are expecting rain (not snow) here for the next couple of days. We need it.

Bill, praying for your health issues.

I spent a couple of hours yesterday and got the door handle fixed on my truck. I had to replace it. Now I can get in the driver's door again. I have a ton of other things that I could do on my old truck, and I look forward to working on it as the weather improves, and as my rib improves. There is a lot of stretching and bending working on an old truck.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

LOL...Dave I like your envisioning of me. We tend to be pretty frugal, I hope to earn enough in "retirement" to pay for my field trial habit.
Hope the creeping crud is better today.
I was wondering if your new team of docs were picking up where the old team left off, Bill. Sounds like you have that well organized.
Prayers for Joanne. Saw a photo on facebook of her and grandkid. Sweet.
I should call my dentist and schedule a check up.
Tonight, I am going to make oyster stuffing with a simple recipe using saltines, if I can find the oysters. Not point friendly, just the opposite, but am going to give away the majority of it. Couple of kids on at the clinic wanna try it after we were talking about oyster dishes. I'll have a small bit of it with some grilled salmon tonight.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning gentlemen.

Feeling a little better, not well. I'll probably skip choir practice tonight.

Used to love oysters on all their varieties and recipes. Last couple of times I had unfortunate intestinal consequences, so I have avoided them for the last few years. Miss 'em.

    Take care all.

    Good Morning

Sam, we loved the FB post of the shaved heads. Joanne is always in my prayers

Lee organized re changing Docs I am not. I am behind in getting a new PC which means cardiology as well. Still 2+ weeks before my first urology appt. Medicare doesn’t require referrals to specialists but most of the specialists do. We had a nice walk along the shore line in a brisk “breeze”. It’s nice not to have to stop and sit while my back muscles ease up before can continue. I followed Steve’s lead and made a couple of small meat loaves last night trying a new recipe. It has potential. Weather changing so walking may be limited.

    Good afternoon.

Back home now. Went out for lunch yesterday with DB & SIL and their friends at a lakeside restaurant. Had a reuben sandwich. Probably saltiest thing on the menu. Snowed in NH on and off all day and looked like a winter postcard by the time I left. Recovering now from overdose of political talk during visit. DSIL gifted me with a bag of "mushroom coffee", one of her many health fads she is into. Anyone every tried that?

Dermatology appointment tomorrow to look over some wonky looking moles that PCP says are nothing, but I wanted a specialist opinion. Hopefully she was right.

    Onward and downward.

Alas, no oysters to be found. Another day.

I have heard of mushroom tea, and even drank some once a very long time ago in my experimental phase. It made the people's faces in the room move around like they were made of silly putty.
