Morning BBB
Miraflores is extremely walkable city so we've been getting in 20k steps daily. Which is good since we've been eating out most days too. Pisco sour is the national drink so we had a few of those yesterday.
Today we are meeting 2 other couples for coffee.
Our Airbnb cohost is a dentist so Ron has an appointment on Monday.1 -

Lil T wore this Grammie out. Chasing him at the indoor playground was a workout. Of course he wants to climb the big kids equipment with no help. Sigh. I did try to redirect to the lil tikes side.
I stopped and did my $175 grocery shopping on way home Sat. I passed on the $6+ doz eggs. I had a doz at home. Only meat I got was 2 chicken breasts and a pack of 5 hot Italian turkey sausages. No paper products or household cleaners or soaps. I did get $18 of coffee. I thought prices were coming down?
I did stop for gas at Costco for 2.65/gal. That's a little savings...
Got a dusting of snow overnight, barely an inch.
I'll do virtual church at 9am with the lutherans from the lake area congregation.

Well, Mary, the current economic policies are all highly inflationary, so I suspect we will see the price of just about everything trend sharply upward.
Feeling much better this morning, so we'll be back in church this morning. I am eager to take my seat with the choir.
We will have snow showers through the morning and for the next few days, it seems. No accumulation until Tuesday, when we might get up to three inches. No joy for the kids. They might get a late start to a day, but not much chance of a cancelation.0 -

We thought Joanne had blood sugar in check, at 4 this morning blood sugar 42, drank orange juice and ate Oreo, sugar went up to 56.
At least I have not gotten a call from personal care home concerning DMIL acting up.

Welcome to h-e-l-l week in Casa Del Stone.
Special called meeting of the commission tomorrow night, Leo gets de-balled and has a couple teeth extracted on Wednesday, I start colonoscopy prep on Thursday and the grand finale on Friday of getting my backside probed. So excited for next week, I guess.
The thing about inflation that folks don't talk about is that when prices go up, they don't come back down. So whatever damage has been done over the last 5 years, we're just stuck with. Doesn't mean we have to actively work to make it worse though.
Leo got sheered on Friday. Lost a half pound in the process. 😂

- I've been churched and schooled.
- Sounds like a tough week for the Stone guys.
- At least Ron lucked out with a dentist connection, doesn't mean it will be fun though.
- Ever wonder why core inflation doesn't include food or energy? There are other indexes that do but they typically quote core inflation.
- I was in Costco Friday and bought eggs for our men's breakfast next week because they were $18.69 for a 5-dozen box ($3.74 a dozen) and I could get them. Our local Publix has been out.
- It is a dry spell for sports. I hear about some fellas throwing a big round ball at a basket, but it makes no sense to me.

Core inflation already includes the energy consumed to produce and ship goods. So if you're thinking about the price of eggs, it's already in there. It doesn't reflect your cost of commuting or keeping your house warm though.0

Several breweries yesterday. One beer per stop. Had a great time.
Reilly had someone break into his vacant house. Lots or trash and other debris left outside. Police came and did a search. Now. Security cameras are reinstalled. He closed on the 28th.
We leave on a 10 day cruise 2 weeks from tomorrow. Woo hoo.
I couldn’t care less about basketball.

Ds1, Roarke, and his fiancée did tastings yesterday and went to several venues for rehearsal dinner and hotel accommodations. Over a year away. Time will fly by.
The grand dog Clover, is adorable. We can’t wait to see her soon
Tomorrow is our 33rd wedding anniversary. No plans yet. The cruise is our gift.0
