- Late start today.
- The optometrist yesterday changed the script considerably. No internet, so I couldn't complete an order for new lenses. Ugh.... He wants me to see a specialist to have "droopy eye lids" cut off to help me see better/clearer. Actually he said "Fatty" but I noted I would leave that out of Google review! SMH!
- Booked summer trip to CO (Estes Park) for DW's 65th! DBIL/DSIL going to go out too. Waiting on other DBIL/DSIL to make a decision.
- Guess I need to start printing off EOY statements for the tax man. I think all my W2's arrived.

I had a budgie with fatty liver but she kept saying she was just big winged, Skip.
I'm reminded that when we get these warm spells in February, we end up with more mosquitos in summer. Of course, in the moment if wearing a tshirt while drinking coffee, I'm trying not to think too far ahead.0 -

Thinking ahead here too, to setting up our Lake getaway and it's looking like April 4th. Provided there is no snow on ground.
We too gathered tax docs last night.
Winter chill here. May get ice and snow over night.
I'm planning a toddler Valentine's day party here! For six under 6 and their parents. Im thinking Pin the heart on Elmo, Bluey... Pom pom spoon drop. Musical stop and go game...find the hidden hearts....all things kids and the like! Showing the littles the love❤️🩷🤍

Ron met with the dentist yesterday. He is getting a crown. He thinks she said $800 sol which is approx $200 usd. I'm guessing she quoted in usd but either way not too bad. He goes back on Wednesday.
I'm hoping for a low key day. We have been walking 20k steps a day this week and I'm beat. We found a board game store yesterday that wasn't open yet but looks like they have tables you can play at so maybe we'll go rent a table for the afternoon.0 -

Looks like the week to plan summer trips. I committed to taking the grandkids on a road trip the first week of August. Now I have to figure out where we'll go and start making reservations. Rita mentioned Crater Lake.
We're still awaiting the last of our 1099s. I am the tax guy. When everything is here, I'll spend a day with Turbo Tax. I did it last year and it wasn't too painful. It was certainly easier than the old days, when I filled out a paper Form 1040. No state or local income tax in Washington, so that makes it easier.

Thanks for the anniversary wishes. We went to a new pizza joint that has craft beer. My choice and it was an excellent choice. The cruise coming up is our present.. No cards or gifts.
$200 for a crown!!! WoW.. I need to fly there to get my dental work performed!!
