    Good morning!

    We are bracing for more snow this coming week. In the last couple of days it has gone from maybe 1 inch to over 5 inches forecast now. Sigh.... I did work yesterday and have my snow blower fixed and ready to go.

    We get our new washing machine installed this afternoon.

    Good Morning

    Waiting to take off for Racine waiting at Eugene Airport. It’s snowing, just enough to annoy me and they are going to de-ice. Very unbiblical conditions. It occurs to me I haven’t seen this much of my family at once in decades. All the siblings but one is enroute.

    This was the first night in a while, that if didn't get below freezing. It's 33 degrees, heading for a high of 40. February always seems such a long, cold month. On a positive note, I noticed the first buds starting to swell on the flowering cherry tree in front of the house. They won't bloom until April, but it's still the first sign of approaching spring.

    Cleaning in the shop this morning. We have a memorial service to attend this afternoon.

    Expecting 8” of snow tonight then 8” Thursday and another 6” next weekend. Planning on xc-skiing tomorrow with DD if the roads are okay to travel. Will use the fields in state park a few miles away.

    Am realizing the ham radio job I volunteered for (400 miles north of here) involves being on call all night as sleds on the 250 mile race check in one after another. Will be sleeping on a cot in a sleeping bag with my CPAP machine going and my mouth taped shut… Maybe me and the other ham can do shifts, a few hours at a time. They still don’t have enough snow and are not expecting any soon.

    I take that back—N. Maine expecting 14” Thursday and 11” next weekend. Looks like no reprieve for me.

    So sorry to hear your mum's passing, Bill. Safe travels.
    I should arrive home before the snow tomorrow night, but we're not expecting 8" like Mike.

    Guess I have been AWOL a couple of days. I was pleased that my PSA results seemed to be much better than expected and without having to do the hormone therapy. Think I mentioned that.

    Yup safe travels Bill . You always miss your mom or dad no matter how old when passing.

    Don't do too much Steve with the snow stuff.

    I think I might have had a couple of tiny snowflakes early this a.m. but rain earlier. Just too warm to really snow or stick.

    Gosh stay warm all and don't overdo it with the snow thing.
