Gotta walk the dogs then hit the road.
Super 8 served biscuits and gravy. Someone's meemaw was in the kitchen and filling the buffet. My biscuit was perfection. I was tempted to take a couple for the road.

    Onward and downward ;-)

    Good morning!

Safe travels, Lee. Now you have me thinking about biscuits and gravy. Yum!

We now have a new washing machine sitting in the box in the garage. My car is parked outside. It would seem that with our hard water, the cold faucet is too corroded to hook up to the new washer. So.... I get to call a plumber. We didn't want to pay the extra $149 to get them out on the weekend, so tomorrow I hope we can get them out here. It would be good to get this done before the snow, and to get it done before we need to go to the laundromat. Sigh....

Bob, that is awesome about the PSA results.

    Go Chiefs!

    Good Morning,
    Safe travels Lee,
I'm not a biscuit a gravy person but biscuits sound good, think I'll make a pan for breakfast.
    Great news Bob!
Steve, sounds as you may need a water filtration system.
Taxes completed, having to pay a little federal.
Joanne still running a fever, 101.3 this morning.
Forecast rain today, heavy mist as I took Pablo for morning walk.

    Good Morning

Mom slipped away quietly yesterday in the early hours. I got the call while waiting for my connecting flight in Denver on my way to Racine. We are all thankful it is over and it was peaceful. Most of the family was in transit yesterday, but we had our first all five siblings reunion in 20 years or so at my sister's, strangely where the last one was to celebrate her marriage. Food was brought in and it wasn't quiet. I picked up a winter coat yesterday which was good. There was a bit of snow on the car at 4:00am when we left the hotel for the airport. Snow early AM in Eugene which turned to light rain and then back to snow. Light snow here in Wisconsin. I don't do snow. So wrong. Not sure what the plan is going forward but I will roll with it.

I pray Joanne's fever abates today and all is well.

    Good morning gentlemen.

    Hope Joanne starts feeling better.

    Safe travels, Lee.

I have never had a restaurant biscuit that came close to what I make at home. Now you have me craving them, too.

Church this morning, football in the afternoon. Maybe some shop in between. It seems most days I plan to get out to my lathe and something comes up that prevents it.

    I hope the Chiefs win.

    Mornin'

Still snowing here with 5" on the ground. Church after I shovel out my parking space, then snowshoeing at the park with DD. She couldn't find XC-ski rentals at the ski store on her street, but I have an extra pair of snowshoes. A friend's wife has old skis she doesn't use that might do, and might trade for having her piano tuned.

Might catch superbowl later at DS & EX's house. Not sure if I mentioned, the old steam furnace was low on water and EX filled it, but tuned off the faucet the wrong way and walked away, flooding two 2nd floor bedrooms, which rand down through kitchen and dining room ceiling into light fixtures. She's getting to be a walking disaster area.

    Bob, that is good news.

Bill, Godspeed. Prayers for your mom in this precious time.

    Lee, safe trip home.

Yup Lee good travels. So how many biscuits to the mile do ya get traveling> haha.
We had hard water years ago in Calif but we all had water softeners for the house which helped.
Wow SAM! Taxes done and money going from Sam to Uncle Sam? Is that "keeping it in the family??
Sorry that Joanne stills has fever. Sending Ts and Ps for her.
Bill it is a blessing that your mom passed peacefully. Prayers from us.
Will catch some superbowl and eat some home made fork mashed guacamole with some eggies and chips. Hope not to overdo it too much.
Oh my Mike! So sorry about the water leak.

Had nice WW zoom early this a.m.
