Just found out that the family homestead went on the market this week. The realtor already has two full asking price offers. Anyway, since Lou shared a lot of information when he sold his parents' home, I thought I'd share this. One owner, since 1959.

    My grandparents built an all brink ranch in 1957 similar, on dead end. Built it for $ 38,900 😉 I still have the paid bank note.

    My folks bought that house for $14,500, in December 1959, when I was in the 4th grade. The sunroom went on in the late '70s, after I was off in the Army. Still strange to see the place completely empty.

    Amazing, you don't find many one owner homes built in 1959.
