Good morning!
Ah, the Chiefs did not play a good game yesterday. Congratulations to the Eagles. The Chiefs still had a great season.
I am calling the plumber at 7:00 this morning. I am worried if we can get a plumber out here and get the crew back to install the washing machine around the predicted 4-8 inches of snow tomorrow into Wednesday. We are supposed to see some snow late today.
Lots of chores and hopefully plumbers on tap for today.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin' gents.
Sincerest condolences, Bill.0 -
Morning men.
Watched the game last night, a dismal 4 hours of football. Plus I was rooting for KC while the rest of the room was cheering for Philly. I like Mahomes, but he sure didn't play well until it was too late.
Had a nice time snowshoeing yesterday with DD. She was shocked at how strenuous it is, so I was surprised because she's a yoga teacher and otherwise very fit. About 5" of powder, not real deep, but much more on the way this week. Latest forecast is 8" Thurs. plus 15" by Saturday. I really should dig out the skis...
Not sure what's going on today. Had a bit of junk food yesterday, back on the wagon...0 -
Good morning gentlemen.
Hope Bill's travels went well. Sad time.
The game wasn't very interesting, unless you're a Philly fan. Kind of like when the Seahawks crushed Denver 11 years ago. We all loved that game, while it tops lists of worst Super Bowls of all time. Eye of the beholder.
We're in a cold weather advisory for the next three days. Overnight tempos could get in the high teens. That's nothing for much of the country, but pretty cool for this mild neck of the woods.0 -
Good Morning
The timing of the Super Bowl seemed a blessing to me since as we gathered at my sisters yesterday afternoon it provided a good detraction and step forward. I thoroughly enjoyed the game since I lived in Philly for 7 years or so back in the 70's. Crushing defense. The eased up the intensity in the 2nd half which happens. So many sacks without blitzing. Wow. I enjoyed the halftime show. Remarkable staging and choreography. My brother in law char grilled burgers for dinner. He has the gift. It was hard to resist getting an extra one.
We out-of-towners are gathering for a late breakfast and more catching up and talk. Normally the noise and having 6 conversations swirling around drives me a bit nuts, I prefer solitude. But I have to admit I find it a bit healing. Not sure when I will head home. It depends on what is needed here. We need to empty Mom's rooms at St Monica's and deal with all that. But I will see what my sister wants.0 -
So sorry for loss Bill, no matter how old or sick it is always hard when one loses a parent.
Didn't care about game, watched it because nothing else own worth watching.
Cooler here this week but not cold, rainy starting tomorrow, we are only expected to get about an inch over 4 days.
DW still running fever,
