- My 4 month battle with United to refund cancelled tickets for DF and his 6th wife prevailed. Haven't spoken to the jacknut since Sept 28th but he continues to leave me SMH everyday! #SmallVictories

Morning gang
We were looking heavily at going to Bariloche to spend a month near Patagonia but there really wasn't a good option for after, plus we aren't really in our best hiking shape so decided to book Cotacochi Ecuador. Flight is booked and VRBO house requested. It's the nicest option but its been many hours since we requested and no answer from host...hopefully she was just busy yesterday and didn't see the request.
Our flight is at noon so up early to pack and Uber to the airport. It's about 45 minutes away and likely morning traffic will cause troubles...rush hour seems to last until 10 am here. If we get there too early ill see if we can get into the lounge.0 -

Nothing new since last night other than I slept when the dog let me. Cecilia's going to be righteously upset this morning as he was more annoying to her than me trying (and succeeding!) to get into our bed.
We accepted defeat on the couch, but the bed is our last stand and we can't break. Can't have a dog with questionable personal hygiene sticking his butt on our pillows when we're trying to sleep.0 -

Good morning BBB friends.
There has been talk of dropping the one-cent piece for 50 years. It was inevitable.
Safe, hassle-free travels Steph and Ron.
Our large furry friend enjoys some cuddle time on our bed every night but voluntarily moves to her own space after we turn out the light. She wouldn't fit on a pillow.
We are accepting a full priced offer on the old family home, less than a week after the listing went up. Couple has 25 percent cash down payment for their first home, so it looks as though there will be no financing hiccups. Anticipate closing in a month.
The Lay-Z-Boy drama continues today. Technician comes for the third time to attempt to secure loose leather upholstery. We have a box of parts that arrived Friday. I can't decide whether to be amused or mad.

- I started the day with my Emmaus Reunion group.
- Safe travels Steph. Exciting places.
- The good news Dave is that they keep coming back. Let's hope they get it fixed this time.
- Considering the inflation of our lifetime the penny is useless and the metal to make it is worth ~3 times the currency value. Time to go.
- It is also time to get rid of the last .9c on the price of gas.
- It is going to be a cool wet week here. I got my outdoor chores done yesterday. Sam, the HOA takes care of anything they planted. I am responsible for anything I planted, and we did some landscaping when we first moved in.
- May your DC drama subside Skip.
- Be nice to Leo. He's had a tough week.

Gotta say, we had a Lazy Boy sectional couch two houses ago. The motor on one of the recliners was bad. Between Macy's and Lazy Boy, they 100% impressed the heck out of me with fixing, partial refunds, etc.
I've since moved on to LoveSac for my basement lair. LOVE it. Its comfy, reconfigurable, I can take the covers off to wash; and it looks great. Though the 60 boxes that arrived by FedEx for us to put together was a total PITA!!!
Same here, Tucker comes to bed with me and gets some "bed" time while I watch TV, wind down, and as soon as I get through 20 minutes of the 10 o'clock news, and hit lights out, he gets into his crate on his own and stays through the night. Best of both worlds.
Thanks though Lou, never really thought through where his butt might touch. (Though its mainly DW's side, so I guess I'm safe) 😎0 -
The Feds only charge 18.4¢ a gallon. Some other jerk is responsible for the other hay-penny. 😂
We used to wake up with the dogs crowding us out of our pillows, so full pucker was on our pillow cases. 🤮0
