Rise and shine.
Dog sitting 3 or 4 days next week for DS & DDIL. Was hoping to XC-ski around here this weekend but forecast has turned to sleet, rain and ice.
Found out yesterday that a member of our Bible study group has 6 months to live--ovarian cancer, which she has battled for years, is now spreading to other organs. Such a shame.
Crazy dreams last night... Need some coffee to wake up.

Mike, I had crazy dreams too. I had a rough night sleeping, a lot due to pains. With the snow moving in, I feel every joint in my bones. My rib has been hurting for two days or more.
Prayers for Bill and his family, Joanne, and Mary travel.
Our snow has started. It started around 3:00 a.m., just as Collin was getting home from work. It started snowing on him less than 5 miles from the house, so he had a good drive home. We are expecting 4-6 inches of light, fluffy snow. I appreciate there is no ice under the snow.
I was going to do house cleaning today, but with my aches and pains, I may postpone again.
We love our new washing machine!

Good morning gentlemen.
It's officially 12 degrees at the Olympia Airport, about a mile from our house. When did Midwest weather sneak into Puget Sound? Even Sassy didn't spend too long taking care of business in the backyard.
One of the sad parts of life as we age, is that more and more friends pass on. We learned yesterday that our next-door neighbor in Indianapolis had died. She and Rita were very close when we were stationed there. They found each other again, online, just a year ago.
Made progress in getting things re-organized in the shop, yesterday, before the cold drove me back in the house. Even with both my space heaters running, my hands get cold eventually. I'll spend a bit more time out there this morning. We have errands to run this afternoon.0 -

Steve’s snow came to Racine around 8:00am. I hate snow. About 4” or so expected. Half the group headed home yesterday to beat the snow. The rest of us leave tomorrow morning. Taking it easy today. Ready to head home.0
