Icy roads this morning. Looks like the snow bomb this weekend is fizzling out. Forecast dropped from 23" to 7" overnight.

    Good morning!

Frigid cold here with wind chills up to -20. I hate winter more than Bill hates snow. We are expecting rain/ice/snow today and tomorrow with measurable snow again on Tuesday.

I might be feeling a little better today so I hope to get some chores done. I'm still really feeling the arthritis with this weather.

I have to get coffee too.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

We got enough snow overnight to whiten the roads. It will clear as soon as there is traffic on it. Not a cold as it has been.

No big plans for Valentine's Day. I told Rita I'd drive her up to the south side of Seattle to visit a Filipino grocery store there. What's more romantic than buying dried fish?

    Happy Valentine
Cold here this morning 30 and Arthur does not like cold.
Hospital room that DW is in thermostat set at 59, been wearing jacket I had bought for Alaska trip six years ago. She finally allowed me to adjust this morning. Seems chemo had caused buildup on lungs lining limiting oxygen. When came in Tuesday oxygen was at 70. Now to try and ween off oxygen. Will not continue chemo, waiting to hear new plans.
Glad you are some better Steve
    Bill make it home safe?
Dave please come clean my workshop in basement, I need to setup saws and routers, need to get dust collection system set backup, DS took my workbench and said I could build a new one.
Mike enjoy snow, my body does not do cold and damp, Arthur gets very upset.

    Good Morning

I am glad they have made progress on Joanne’s flare up. Prayers continue. Made it home OK. Snow in Eugene added a wrinkle they were deicing a plane that vacated our gate right in front of our plane so we sat. Dulcimer festival has started. I took I class this morning. Have a lot tomorrow. Today I finally see my new Urologist. They don’t have my history since they didn’t realize it till the afternoon before I left Wisconsin Being off Meloxicam 3 weeks or so seems to be helping. But we will see. No plans for VDay with me leaving and Mom passing. I think we should do a reschedule.

Oh Sam I could hardly imagine what you are going thru w DW.
Well we probably had about 3&1/2" to 4" of snow since yesterday. Since most residential roads aren't treated or plowed at all schools were cancelled. Also no way to pick up any kids that doesn't involve some sort of hills. You may have seen the 100 vehicle pile up on national news on I-84 near Multnomah Falls. Lots of semi trucks and cars. One SUV caught on fire. I-5 southbound was shut down too just North of Portland.
We went out this a.m. with our Yaktrax on our boots. Very nice. Saw lots of ducks and geese in the wetlands and a bunny rabbit too.

Oh and my wife's romantic thing yesterday was buying me two bottles of filipino Silver Swan Coconut Vinegar which we dearly love to use.
Luved getting out in the snow this a.m. As a guy mostly growing up in SoCal it is a big deal to me. Yes I have early memories of winter and snows in Chicago. I also remember going tobogganing in toboggan chutes in Wisconsin as a tiny tyke. Great fun.

Stay warm and as painfree as possible everyone!!
