Good morning!
Frankie is on this thing again where she is waking me up before 5:00 a.m. Sigh....
Connie had a very nice birthday yesterday. Today will be more about getting some things done. We might see 70 degrees today! It is hard to believe that last week at this time we were still in the Artic blast.
Sam, continued prayers for Joanne, and for DMIL.
Lee, prayers continue for your healing as well.
Have a great day!0 -
Mornin'
Figured I would check in, as I have the morning free before heading an hour north to Fort Kent to meet the other hams. Checked into my cabin yesterday afternoon. Left home 5:30 AM and arrived here 2:30; last few hours of driving were in blowing snow with lots of unnerving logging trucks on the road. My cozy little log cabin has a moose head on the wall over my bed...
Had a delicious grilled burger last night at their restaurant nextdoor. No place to get breakfast around here, so had coffee and some Cliff Bars.
Steve, looks hopeful with Colin's work situation. Fingers crossed he continues.
Sam, God willing, I hope your wife is able to get through the complicated challenges she's facing.
Have a good rest of the day...0 -
Mornin' gents
Gonna make a trial run to work today. I start half days on Monday.
Managing swelling post activity is my biggest challenge a this point.
Happy belated Birthday, Connie!
Dinner out last night. Very good fish and chips accompanied by a beautiful chocolate porter stout. Sitting at the restaurant table for 2 hours made my knee swell up big time.
Prayers for Joanne continue.

Good morning gentlemen.
Cabin in the Maine woods, with a moose head on the wall - classic.
Best wishes for all of our patients. May your healing continue with minimal discomfort.
It was well into the 60s yesterday. I walked Sassy wearing shorts and rolled-up sleeves. A repeat today. Our granddaughter has her 5th grade concert tonight. Those things are always fun. The grade school music teacher is a treasure. The kids always put on a wonderful show.
Enjoy the day.0 -
Good Morning
That is one big ole moose head. Seems like the opening set to a horror movie. Praying for continued progress and healing for Joanne and for Sam. I am not sure where yesterday went. Seems like it was over before I knew it. Grocery shopping seemed to take forever. I can't find stuff in that store and have to go back and forth. I got home to late to make the cottage pie so I went with Chinese Chicken Salad instead. There's a home and garden show at the event center this weekend. We might go today to check it out and get some names of contractors etc. At some point we will want patio covers built and a few things done. My neck stiffened after I woke up. Its a bit painful. I assume I slept on it wrong. Tylenol ER, muscle relaxor and some heat will hopefully calm it down before it gets too bad.0 -
Good Afternoon,
Should reach 70 this afternoon.
Mike sounds like a great adventure, but way too cold for me.
Great news that Collin is still happy at work and becomes a permanent employee.
I hate grocery shopping but will have to get it done either today or tomorrow.
