We had a wonderful day at the park today! I am loving this spring weather! We walked, about 3 miles or so. Tomorrow is going to be cooler again, and don't have anything on the agenda as of yet.

@ashleycarole86 that is challenging when work is causing you to stress eat/drink. Do you like your job? Are you able to switch or maybe find something you like better? I know that my work is a huge challenge for me, between free food in the break room and stress. I have been trying to avoid the break room and only eating food I bring from home.

Do any of you have the option to voice log your food in your diary? It sounds like it might be rolling out for some now and others later. I LOVE IT!!! I think I might actually log my food consistently

apologies for the late post! I thought I had also posted last week, but it looks like it never went through.

My missed weight for March 1st was 182.4 lbs. I was then feeling quite under the weather and had a tough time feeling motivated to workout.

@conleywoods the voice logging your food is there, but it's only included in premium 🫤

    Good afternoon Waistaways :-)

    CW 245lbs Whoop!Whoop!

I am so happy this morning! I didn't have a good weightloss like this for at least 3 months 😁 I think no alcohol helped 😀

    @ashleycarole86

I so identify with you with everything you said food and alcohol wise. I am a cook and I work 50 hours a week most weeks. I am lucky if I get 1 day off, usually on Sundays. Weekends are busiest so I normally would drink a bottle of red wine on Friday and a bottle of red wine on Saturday. Sunday I would feel so achy and hungover that I would just waiste my day off on the sofa instead of spending fun day with my family 😒 Depends how rough the week was work wise I would probably drink some more during the week. One day last week I was tidying up the house and I collected all the empty bottles here and there and I was so embarrased of how many I found 😫 Then I thought it is roughly 800 calories per bottle 🙄

Last Monday I thought it would be good idea to book in to online AA meeting. I booked into one in the city far away from me. I thought no one will recognise me. On the day I checked into the meeting. You had to use your name. It was just an audio meeting. There was no video option, thank goodness. I lasted maybe 10 minutes and I logged out. It really scared me hearing people say what their life is at the moment. I never want to be saying those struggles. I am not alcoholic yet but I really was on the way. I am not sure how many bottles or glasses away but I am so glad that I joined, even if it is only briefly, when I did.

So I know it is only 10 days alcohol free for me but I am proud of myself. Friday and Saturday it felt like a habit and I thought to have the wine, then I remembered the meeting and it really put me off because I never want to have to do it again 😐️

Food wise I don't have an answer yet, sadly 😔 I cook all day long and it is so difficult not to try and taste. I have to to make sure its good for customers, but I know my weight loss would be better if I didn't have to cook all day long 😔Maybe before bigger functions I might try Intermitent Fasting. See if that helps me.

    Wednesday: 7,049
    Thursday: 3,088
    Friday: 6,467
    Saturday: 9,347

There are 2 days I was less than 1,000 steps to my goal. On Friday, I noticed as I got into bed, but didn't want to get up again 😴

I only walked 1 day this week, and I want to increase that this week. I did walk 3/5 days on lunch, however this is more like a stroll than a get my heart rate up exercise.

I got my walk in early this morning, so I couldn't talk myself out of it 😂

How is everyone doing with springing forward? I am just finishing breakfast and it's about lunch time. Going to bed tonight will be rough, so I know tomorrow I will be tired already!

@lauren_989 Not doing great with the time change over here! I only remembered it was daylight savings today at 1:30AM when I was setting an alarm after the wedding party for 8AM and my phone said "alarm set for 5 hours 30 min from now". I was like, "that's not the right math... oh noo". Extra rough to lose hour on a travel day but I was home to my apartment by 12:30PM. Didn't eat great today but currently forced myself out on a walk after PT to get my steps done.

@ashleycarole86 steps update, may have already reported the 1st -

    Previous Weight: 148.0 lbs

    Current Weight: 147.8 lbs

Although my weight didn't budge much this week, my watch's body composition told me I was down 1.2 lbs of fat mass, and up 1 lb of skeletal muscle, so I'll take it! 💪

@lauren_989 The app isn't free, though it does have a trial available. It's either 7 or 14 days, I can't remember which. Side note, I may be on your reminder list for both Sunday and Monday 😆

@Lyss983 Oops about the dual reminder! And I didn't have @babyw8gone for Monday 🙈

I am trying to still get used to this new format and as of now, I can't quote a picture 🤷🏼‍♀️

    Good morning!

I am very happy with my weight loss, but I am fairly sure that Ramadan (fasting from food & water from sunrise to sunset) is playing a big role. The first step is losing the weight and the more difficult part is maintaining that loss. I am hoping that I can maintain whatever I lose after Ramadan wraps up the end of this month.

@lauren_989 My apologies for not weighing in last Monday. I don't know how or why my day(s) slip away but they do. My daughter is going to be my Monday reminder. I also need to look at my priorities. Today's a new day.

My boyfriend has an operational PS2, so I got to play one of my old DDR games yesterday. I've decided not to pick up running again as just walking outside is more fun and I get plenty of intense cardio from video games :) I thought about intrinsic vs extrinsic motivation… I independently love rhythm games, nature walks, following random exercise videos on YouTube, and strength training. Running came from wanting a pat on the head, and that's no fun to run after… especially if you're vertically petite 🤣

Today was a gorgeous day outside, sunny and 73. I started a new 5K training program from the Garmin and I am looking forward to working on this. I got in a nice walk/run today.

@ElfBodGoals I love that you use dancing for fitness!

@babyw8gone if Ramadan helps with weight loss, could you try intermittent fasting after it's over? Have you tried this in the past?
