    GM~

The older I get the less tolerant I become. Houseguests after two days are like warm beer!

Hope Pablo enjoys doggy daycare. Its 1000% helped Tucker stay active/engaged and behaved.

Work continues to be stressful. Not sleeping well. Not getting positive hits back to the 100's (literally) of resumes/cover letters sent out. The job market is going to blow for some time.

Great to hear Lisa/Jims name! Miss them and Raine on BBB!

    Is it Friday yet?

    Morning gang

We were up and at the bus station by 6:30 am yesterday for our trek to the hot springs. It was a fun day including a soak in multiple hot springs (cold plung available). Entrance included a 35 minute massage. Then lunch in a nearby town. We got rained on a bit but they have one covered tub fir when it was really raining. Home via taxi/bus by 4pm. It was a fun experience but probably won't go again, or at least not by ourselves. All in about $30 for the day.

Today housekeeper is coming so we will probably head to a coffee shop then some shopping to give her space.

Skip I thought maybe you would really retire. I'm amazed you have found 100 positions you are interested in.

    Good morning BBB friends.

Sounds like a relaxing day, for a great price, Steph.

I feel for you, Skip. I imaging it is very tough looking for positions in the DC area.

The Lay-Z-Boy drama continues today. I have an video appointment late this morning, for a senior technician to look at my chair and decide what to do about the leather upholstery that keeps pulling loose. How many times do they keep trying the same thing before they say, "Enough!"?

    Hey, folks.

Waiting on the vet to tell us what the dog ate that he can't seem to cough back up. Woke me up with that nightmarish cough/puke noise on the rug next to my side of the bed, but because dogs are dumb, he won't eject whatever it is. So Cecilia's at the vet online shopping for his heartworm meds while they mess around with him.

I too thought Skip was going to retire, but maybe he's like me and thinks about bridging health insurance as an obstacle.

They are offering VERA (voluntary early retiremeent) - but its not yet been officially presented.

To that end, I have the years, not the age. Alas, I would be without SS supplement for 3 years until I hit miniumum retirement age.

The whole thing is a kitten show. I have 10pt vet status and 30 years seniority - so one would think I would BUMP someone without those protections. Alas, DOGE could give 2 kittens and is doing what they want. Drama continues

    Good luck, Lou!

    Good afternoon BBB friends.

    • There was only 2 of us at Emmaus this morning so we 'met' at the local coffee shop.
    • Hannah slept the whole night.
    • I left HP on an enhanced early retirement package where they 'gave' me some extra age points. For a year+ I didn't know if I was retired or unemployed when a sweet gig at Dell presented itself. I did that for another 7 years.
    • Get better Leo.

    Good afternoon

Had a fun St. Pats dinner last night!

I'm sorry you're going though this Skip

With doge employment terminations in the thousands, I wonder what the jobs creation plan for these young Americans out of work is? Or Did I miss that memo?

Steph, I bet you're glad your where you are at, in so many ways!

Hi Hannah, you seem like the perfect puppy!!!

Hope Joanne and Sam are doing ok!

    Be well BBB

Got good news from doctors' appointments this morning, tumor has shrunk a little and lungs are improving; will try to remove tumor end of April or first week in May.

Took DMIL to doctor this afternoon, said she was not eating enough nor moving enough; plus she refuses to wear her hearing aid.

DW has another scan at hospital in morning at 7:30 and tomorrow afternoon I have to have DMIL at dentist.

Sorry about worry you are going through Skip, ones I know here are split as to whether things are going to get better or worst. I'm glad I'm retired.
