Seems like people are figuring out the tickers. For what it is worth, when I update I really only look at the TTD (or MTD) miles that you report - I find it easier to read than the ticker, and the tickers are so prone to problems what you type is more reliable.

@darkrider42 - wow, that is some dedication to start growing a beard before summer so you'll have it in December. I don't know how beards work (fortunately !!) but it sounds hot.

@Janet: The ticker is more for me in tracking my miles. I put them in on the ticker app, but sometimes forget to post them here. So it keeps me straight. I will always put my total in for you to read. And yes, I cannot imagine a beard all summer. My hubby often grows one during the winter and I am happy to see it go. I asked him to shave off his mustache when we were first dating and immediately told him to grow it back. It has stayed ever since. 😂

Hope you all had a great weekend! I had a productive and yet still relaxing and restorative one. My FIL and SIL came for a St. Patrick's Day meal yesterday. YUMMY corned beef, cabbage, carrots, and potatoes. I missed us not having soda bread a little, but we had three other kinds so I got over it. lol The meal was absolutely wonderful as was spending the time with my wiife's Dad & Sister. They've both had a rough past 12 months and it was really nice to have them in our home feeling safe and loved. Both my wife and her sister are such incredible cooks, not to mention really special as humans. I'm very grateful to have both of them in my life. ♥️

As far as the beard, I should be okay…not having any hair on TOP of my head will probably help as there won't be anything up there to trap the body heat. 😂 I'll just have to spend a lot of time in the wind on my motorcycle and in the convertible with the top down if I start getting too warm. :) I didn't realize that the picture I posted was 3 weeks ago and it has already grown a bunch more! @CHAR, that's funny about your hubby's mustache! My wife is not a fan of facial hair either as it ages me significantly. It probably doesn't help either that that just adds one more similarity between me and her father. We're really TWINNING now! HAHAHA!

Wasn't planning to take an exercise break this weekend, but my body appreciated it. I did ride 6.5 miles this morning for a MTD of 85.5 / 150.

    Adding 15.88 miles

That puts me at 51.31 miles so far.

I walked in the wind, rain and sunshine today!! Crazy!

@Dave: Sound like you had a wonderful time and meal with family. Cherish those times with them. I had a long life with my dad and I am so grateful for it, but I would give anything to have an hour with him again. I know we will have a joyful reunion in heaven one day.

Keep us updated on the beard. It is funny. I worked with all these young guys who shave their heads. One of them decided to grow his back, but unfortunately baldness had already struck.

@Chris: Same weather patterns here too. I walked in rain, wind and sunshine, all in the same walk yesterday.

@CPANUS - Dealing with the tickers is a little different now, but not too difficult. I can give you some help with that if you'd like. 😊

Fairly nice day here yesterday, but hear we have another one of our annual March basketball tournament-time blizzards moving in tomorrow. We're supposed to get a bunch of wet, heavy snow. Good thing is that it melts within a day or two. I WAS beginning to think about taking the motorcycle out, but guess it's going to be another week or two. We did get some heavy rain last weekend to wash the salt off the roads so I did take the Mustang out for a little bit yesterday. That was fun. :)

I'm at 38/50. Did some yoga yesterday. Still walking every day with the dogs. Stepped on the scale and realized I was headed somewhere I don't want to go so I'm being more careful with what I eat. Staying fit doesn't get easier with time, does it? 🤣

CONGRATS to @CLEPANT for making GOAL!! 🎉

We lucked out here regarding the blizzard that was forecast for yesterday. It swung way south of us and we didn't get a single drop of rain or flake of snow! I'm totally okay with that. 😎

I'm at 43/50. Another "cold" front headed for Florida - hurrah! The longer the heat and humidity holds off the better for me.

From 70 yesterday, to 40’s today to who knows tomorrow. Thus is the wacky weather wave. Today’s PT session was a work out. Nine weeks down and I can now pull my hair back in a ponytail with only slight strain. I told my therapist to make me feel it or I am not getting stronger and improving my range. He did! 🤪

Behind on miles. Hopefully I can catch up!

@clepant good work on the shoulder 💪.

Update on me. My spinal tap went well. The recovery has been a little bumpy. I have one more test on Tuesday that will let us know what needs to be done if anything. But according to the tap I don't have IIH and won't need a shunt. The other test is for narrowing of the vessels in the brain that can increase pressure in the brain. Got to love complicated migrane that can cause stroke or blindness! Not just a headache...

Now making GOAL is @GRANDMAJACKIE!!! CONGRATS!!! 🤸‍♀️🤩

Glad to hear your shoulder is improving, @CLEPANT! And that you got good news from your spinal tap, @TAHM42! Keeping fingers crossed and sending 🙏 for you both that things continue to go in the right direction.

HAPPY FRIDAY, ALL, and I hope you have a fantastic weekend! I have another full one. Having friends over tonight for shenanigans, then a friend's 60th birthday party tomorrow afternoon, then having youngest son over for dinner and movies tomorrow night, then league bowling Sunday afternoon (we're rolling off for 1st place of the 2nd half of the season lol), and then going to dinner and to see comic, Matt Rife, Sunday evening with wife and four friends. I'm probably going to need to rest on Monday! 😜
