I’m glad to see that last week’s excursion on a Friday night didn’t result in a permanent gain, and I even lost a little more compared to my weight two weeks ago. I will take every slow and steady amount I can.
To be honest, I didn’t work out much this week. I don’t know why; I could not find myself motivated enough to. Instead, I took my dog on longer walks on the nice days and on Friday we clocked 2 miles in the afternoon, and it was very hilly. My husband and I had spin class this morning, and tomorrow I have my yoga class. I’m hoping to find my “workout at home” groove again soon.

@lauren_989 It was definitely the donut. I drank water and got some exercise working out in the yard. Then felt better. I sure didn’t want any more sugar today! Lesson learned.

Late Saturday weigh-in. I keep trying to type this as 186, I guess I am manifesting lol2 -
Wednesday I had some GI issues and didn't do my workouts. Thursday I forgot my fitbit at home and think I was much closer to my goal since we were out shopping.

OK, I am BACK.
I'm not fully healed, I wore jeans yesterday which was a mistake, but as of today I aim to get my 10k steps a day and to stop justifying eating crap because I'm healing. I have run out of the ice creams I love, which have been discontinued, so that's an after-dinner temptation that's gone, and I have made chicken soup for lunches. I've dilly-dallied enough!

@lauren_989 Can I be moved to the Support Team, please? I'm currently figuring out if I am going to move my goal weight, with my increased focus on building muscle. I still would like to stay in the group, but not participating in the weigh-ins. Thank you! 😊

Good morning Waistaways!
CW 143.6lbs OK, not a lot but still in the right direction 😃
Lauren thank you so much for Bookmarks help, I can't believe I've not noticed it before 🫣
I am really pleased to report that in March so far I only had 4 alcoholic evenings 😁Comparing that with February that's fantastic for me 😁 February was every other night
What helped was finding alcohol free wine! I couldn't believe how much it tasted like proper stuff It also gave me a headache 😂
I hope everyone is ok 🥰
Happy Monday Waistaways 🎉

Happy Monday, I had a nice weekend, we made a decision on the countertops, which turned into picking out the backsplash also as we are running the countertop up the wall too. everywhere except behind the stove because it's quartz and we have a gas stove, so we will make that something different. Then we started moving things out of the kitchen so he can start demoing, I have a HUGE pile for donation. We've set up a make do kitchen in the dining room, it is going to be a TOUGH 2 months, but we will survive.
I got up an exercised this morning, just 10 minutes, but I am very proud of myself. This week is tuna salad for lunch, I'm not sure about dinners, I will figure something out.
This is the quartz, I absolutely love it. I really wanted natural stone, but this just kept being my 1st choice every time we looked. The cabinets are called Barley. I attached a pic of them too, I think it is going to make my kitchen so serene, I am very excited. :) Now I have to pick out flooring, If you have any suggestions, please let me know. I am getting kinda iffy on tile because standing on the concrete to pick out these slabs kinda made my back sore, so I am thinking we need to go with LVP which will be a little more forgiving on my back.

It's a gym day! I'm going to start upping the intensity of my warm ups. I have a non-scale victory from last week, I've started using the smith machine to lift the bar! As long as there's a spot open, I can graduate from dumbells. The bar is only 25 lbs, I thought it'd be 45. The pulleys are probably taking some of that weight off, too. I'm also on track to beat last month's # of visits to the gym, which was 5. I'd like it to be 8 to 10 visits a month at least.

Happy Monday! It is drizzly and dreary here today. Logged my breakfast. Checking in. Don’t think I got to 7k steps yesterday.
@Gidgitgoescrzy I love what you picked out. Very peaceful. Just think how much fun it will be to be cooking in there when it’s done.
@strong_fit_ells Congratulations on cutting back your alcohol consumption. You should be proud. It shows in your weight loss too.
Congratulations to our biggest losers and the team for coming in 2nd. 50% in the green is great! Glad I was part of that number this time.
Have a great day.

@Gidgitgoescrzy that is going to be a gorgeous kitchen!!
@ElfBodGoals awesome NSV, and a reasonable goal for 8-10 gym visits a month. Do you do workouts at home? I am aiming for 2 non-walking workouts a week total (I typically workout at home) so about 8 workout days a month for now.
I didn't grocery shop yesterday since I got home at about noon and had a million other things to do to prepare for the week and get my steps in. Not having groceries ready or a meal prepped on a Monday can often spell disaster for my binges. But not today! I got caught in the rain with no umbrella after work, too, so even less motivation to go back outside once I was home, but I didn't let myself contemplate the couch or even changing out of my work clothes. I just dropped my work bag and grabbed my grocery bags instead. Got some lovely chicken cutlets whipped up with a homemade caesar salad. Going to save strawberries and 1 cookie for after PT and my workout - thinking a short upper body session today. I was holding a wine bottle on a 25 min walk on Saturday (a present for my friend's bday) and I am laughing that I woke up on Sunday with 2 sore biceps! From holding 1 bottle of wine!! Better get that muscle growth going, immediately.

Good morning Team, I had a good evening last night, I had leftover pizza bowl for dinner. I did not exercise this morning, I had to put all of my donations on the porch, and there were alot. It's nice that they just come pick it up and you don't have to drive around with it for months in your trunk anymore.
I am going to do pilates this evening, I also need to do the dishes and my pills for the week.
1 -
@Kali225 I do sometimes! I have a lot of dance games and I'm also thinking of starting yoga and/or pilates at home.

@Gidgitgoescrzy you made me laugh! I always have donations in my trunk for months 😂

I'm still puffy, I know because the shorts I wore yesterday cut in all around the waist where they were previously very comfy but I'm back to 10k steps a day and some cardio, and getting away from the pity-snacking disguised as recovery-snacking, so it should head right back down soon!!
