    Good morning BBB friends.

    (((Skip)))

    Hope Sam is progressing.

Beautiful weather here, today. Should be sunny and 65, just a few puffy clouds. Cool rain comes back Sunday.

    MMorning BBB

    Best wishes Skip.

Following Dr's orders I hope Sam.

Ron is off to a massage this morning. It's probably a 20 minute walk. I sent him with cab fare if he wants for the way home.

Monthly budget review was yesterday. But almost no where here takes credit card and we budget cash when we take it out (got lots in December for cruise/Argentina) so the month of March was our lowest spending month in forever even including 7 weeks of rent. Unless we go hog wild I shouldn't have to visit an ATM for at least 4 more weeks…we will see how much we spend in the Amazon next week. Transportation and the Amazon lodge are included but have 2 other hotel nights plus other activities. Ecuador is amazingly inexpensive. Except pickles and peanut butter. $20 each.

    Good morning TGIF!

    🙏Skip !

Sorry for your h2o mess Kelly. R did a good tv interview.

3 Layoffs today in the shop in northern FL today, so I hear. I couldn't produce any order commitments, nor could the others for that company either, when asked last week for a firm forecast for bal of 2025... nadda. My US & big global customers just arn't buying now, stuff I quoted in 2024, for 2025… their budget approved capital expenditures are on HoLD, hold buttons are flasing red. Too much uncertainty, so these types of projects get further moved out, as a wait and see. Unfortunately, that doesn't help our manufacturing business for the rest of 2025...

Getting a "free" wood chip drop on driveway today. We take a load from a local tree cutting service. They otherwise have to pay for disposal. Let's hope it's oak or maple chips. Good quality now since branches have not yet leafed out yet, so should be clean. It's for our berm at rear lot line so grade of chips is not crucial anyway. But best when leaves are not chipped up in the load. And it's free! So glad for the metal trailer box we bought for the zero turn mower a couple years ago. Fill it and drive it to the back. Much easier than wheelbarrow! I'll be able help this time too since I'm in a bit better physical condition.

The sunshine to my Friday: I'm hanging out with my dgs later after work for a couple hours! I'm cutting out by 2pm.

Hope you all have a good day.

    Good morning.

I'm not looking at my portfolio. I'm heavy in equities because the time between now and when I'm supposed to take a dirt nap is too far not to be. If it takes a couple years to sort out, then I'll just have to wait it out.

Congrats on the successful cath, Skip.
