    Good morning!

I started on my taxes yesterday, and now I have a $2,800 problem in that I retired mid-year. The software is not working for me, so I'm going to see a tax preparer for the first time ever to get my taxes done. The appointment is tomorrow.

I got the yard mowed for the first time this season.

Today might be more of a rest day. My rib is saying that it really does not want me to be raking and spending time with a chain saw. Sigh….

    Prayers continue for healing.

    Have a great day!

    Mornin' gents.

25 degrees this morning. Calling for an inch of snow on Saturday.

Ouch Steve. That was a compassionate ouch for your rib and your tax problem. I think the rib issue warrants a follow up with the ortho doc.

Hope you have some ear left after the biopsy, Bob. Sounds ouchy too.

Sam and Joanne are made of tough stuff. Inspirational.

Sounds like all the family wants to check out the new digs, Bill. You have found a sweet spot.

Recall has a new engine being installed in my Tundra. 2 day job. Hope to get it back tonight and that there are no SNAFUs.

    Onward and downward ;-)

Mornin’ gents. 25° and windy, but sun is shining in a clear blue sky, so it’s a happy day.

Made it through Bible study yesterday without going overboard, although I had a piece of almond cake the 90 year old made for us. Delicious. A woman who’s now in hospice came and joined us, she’s got maybe 6 months and looked tired and drawn. Been coming 8 years. Everyone offered their help with things she has at home.

Lee’s truck is getting an engine transplant?!

Steve, hope the rib can heal and not get re-inflamed all the time.

Bill, back in the fray with life.

I was glad to hear Sam’s wife was able to be off oxygen. More hoops for both of them, but one thing at a time.

    Onward and downward.

    Good morning gentlemen.

It rained all day yesterday. And that's about how things went on my errands, too. Bank couldn't roll over the CD because yesterday was the maturity date and that day had to be over before the software would let them issue a new CD (?), then the commissary was completely out of Sassy's dogfood, finally, I forgot the other banking task I was supposed to get done. Forty-five miles of driving for a complete strikeout. Sigh. At least I did finish several projects out in the shop.

A new engine for a recall?! Wow! Toyota can't be happy about doing that.

Sorry about the rib, still, Steve.

    Good Morning

Yesterday's rain was rather intense at times. The forecast was a bit off. We got caught in it when we took our boys to lunch and we ended up just hunkering down in the house. Today we head down to Reedsport for lunch and to explore along the Umpqua River before Jer heads home tomorrow. It was nice to have all 4 of us seated around our dining table last night. Dave, we are heading to Eugene for banking and errands tomorrow. I hope you didn't jinx me!

Yup Steve I will resist ribbing you about your taxes etc. Ouch Ouch!!

A couple of cold showers and one of them intense too. So glad I mowed the lawn on Saturday.

My DW probably broke her pinky toe this a.m. early.

We had a wonderful brunch with our dear son from Seattle and hoping the treatment for DW wont be too bad.

    Hope all continue to heal
