    Good morning!

I was able to get the yard mowed yesterday around the rain. Today, we are supposed to have breaks in the rain, so I'm going to put down tick granules in the yard. They are supposed to be watered in. We are expecting up to 2 inches of rain between today and tomorrow.

We are planning a low key Easter with just the three of us. Non-traditional brisket, beans, potato salad and rolls. Church of course in the morning. Collin sleeps during the day, so ours will be a dinner, not a lunch.

I'm not sure what, if anything will be going on today as we are expecting rain off and on all day. This will be a good day to working on inside projects.

Sam, praying for continued improvement. Lee, you have not mentioned your knee in a minute. I pray that too is healing nicely for you.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.

Going to be 15 degrees cooler today, at 59. Still some sun around, though. DGS has a soccer game thius afternoon, that we will watch.

Very somber and moving Good Friday service last night. After church tomorrow, we are all going over to DDIL and DS house for dinner.

    Mornin'

Paddling with DD later this morning. Supposed to get up to high 70s but then a T-storm this evening. She wants to go for a swim—not me, water is frigid this time of year. She's hosting brunch tomorrow for 6 of us family. New boyfriend will be there as well. Hopefully we won't scare this one away.

Went to DGS reenactment of Good Friday yesterday. DD arrived late because DGD (14) got a hairbrush stuck in her snarled hair and wouldn't come in that way. Afterward she was out in the car, still had the brush sticking out of her head and I went over and used a comb to pry the strands out of the bristles, like I do when velcro gets clogged with lint. Kind of like untangling fishing line for my kids. After about 10 minutes she was free again. Funny. I was a hero for a few minutes.

    Have a good holiday everyone.

Went from 78deg at my house yesterday to a probable hi of 59-62deg later today. Rain showers early before 7:30 am and probably not rainy later. Got my Orange Paruche tomatoes planted yessterday with wall-o-water protection teepees around the two plants. Plants were not in the best shape when they arrived yesterday but I guess we are lucky if we can get any plants from growers right now with all the chaos going on. that's my guess anyway.

OMG the visual of a stuck hairbrush. WOW!

Had long visit with my neighbor across the street who has MS. He is finally doing "miraculously" well. From having beyond migraine headaches 24/7 to being more of himself. I am soooo pleased.

    Cheers

    Good Morning

Beautiful but windy day yesterday, especially when you got down to the sand. We turned back and walked locally finally finding out how to connect a short trail we explored with one close to our house that goes through an area of forest and dunes about 1/4-1/2 mile from our house. From our house it would be about a 2 mile loop which is fine for getting a quick walk in. I just pulled 2 Yorkshire Tea Loaves from the oven (BrackBarm). I haven't made this in many years. Its a spiced moist loaf loaded with many dried fruits soaked in strong Yorkshire tea and a generous slug of Irish Whisky. For our breakfast tomorrow. I need to finish the shopping list and shopping for Sunday dinner.

    Good Afternoon,

New heating and cooling unit installed in basement this morning,

DD came out for a few minutes this morning, she is hosting in-laws at their house tomorrow. we were invited but have no desire to go to westside of Atlanta.

DS and his family will come over tomorrow afternoon, will bake ham, fix potatoes someway, a vegetable of some sort, rolls or biscuits and a couple lemon pies.

Mid 80's highs today and this week.

Still not allowed to drive, so we are doing what DW wants, between us we have 9 doctors' appointments this coming week.

    Evenin' gents.

Worked today. Then shaved down a couple of spaniels that were getting a bit shaggy.

Used up all my PT this week. PT guy says I am doing well, but to keep at it. I still am aware of the replaced knee going up and down stairs. I have 127 degrees flexion, and I want to improve that to 135.

Easter plans with family fell through, but I have the field trial friend who is separating from his wife coming down to do a little training and to check up a couple of his dogs. I am hoping he can stick around to burn a steak tomorrow. He is a bit twitchy and doesn't sit down for meals very often.

Sam, Joanne is going to have to count on you after her surgery, so allow her to boss and drive you around. How is the escape artist doing?

    Onward and downward ;-)
