Good morning!
WILD winds last night. It is still dark, so I have not looked for damage. All of that wind, thunder and lightening, including out power out for a bit, and no rain. Weird.
We did get our real ID cards yesterday. In Leavenworth, it might be a bit like Florence, it is slower and not as crowded. We didn't have much of a wait. We did some shopping and had a nice lunch afterwards.
I finished the pampas grass yesterday. I use a battery powered hedge trimmer with a 14" blade. It works well. The raking is the hardest part of it. I had a very large pile of leaves and grass when I was finished. I have a little trailer behind my riding mower, and use that to take to my compost pile.
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
Totally skunked fishing, yesterday. But I watched the swirling fog burn off over the lake as th4e sun came over the ridge behind me. And was in awe watching a pair of bald eagles skim over the water. The eagles didn't catch anything either. Well worth the effort, anyway.
Running errands this morning, mowing the lawn this afternoon. Not much excitement there.

Oooh Dave almost forgot I saw a Bald Eagle yesterday soaring above as I was driving home from a trip to the medical center to have get my new hearing aids (at no cost because of the warranty arrangment). sorry there was no catching yesterday.
Wow that's amazing Stee you got your RealID cards so quickly. Glad ya survived the wild storm.
My tomato plants seem just great inside their teepees of Wall-O-Water.
Cheers all.

Good Morning
Heather & Patrick saw a Bald Eagle while exploring a river Baker Beach just north of town on Monday. I was just sitting on the edge of the river. Wasn't feeling well yesterday so I took it easy. But I will get out today.

Good Afternoon,
DW had to go to plastic surgeon for them to get photos for insurance company before they would approve surgery. Also signed lots of forms disclosers and authorizations.
Stopped by Costco and filled up $2.63 gallon regular, also picked up stuff for freezer and snacks for next month or so.
DMIL has a doctors appointment this afternoon that DW will handle. Hopefully Monday I'll be allowed to drive again.
Yesterday at oculofacial surgeon decided I needed two more stiches in eyelid, smarted a bid and kept me from sleeping last night.
Physical torture tomorrow, still not allowed to pick up more than a pound with left hand.
Sunny here and should hit low 80's today.
Got a guy cutting my grass today.

Late-night check-in here.
Made it through the day without getting ambushed by donuts, etc. Up early, went for a hike, only a few miles, and got on the bike for a ride. Got up to high 60s. Walked DS's corgi. Strong little dog.
Piano class tomorrow.
Steve, that's a crazy sounding storm. somebody must have gotten walloped with rain or hail somewhere. Usually lightning comes from lots of rain.
Dave, sounds like a heavenly morning fishing. An old ranger once told me, "There's fishing, and then there's catching; both great sports in their own right, but don't confuse them."
