    Drying out from rainy Saturday. Chomping at the bit to get going on the day.

    Buddy dropped in last night from VT. His kid has a lacrosse match in Middletown, so I invited him to use our guest room. Pizza and non alcholic IPAs (he is sober). Good company.

    Been churched,

    DS coming by today to check some stuff on my car, I can began driving again tomorrow.

    Church finally has permits in hand where construction can begin, it has been a year 8 months and 21 days since we left United Methodist church; we have bought and paid for 23 acres, $2.3 million. Construction is going to run about $5.4 million of which we have almost half on hand. God is at work!

    79 or 80 today no rain forecast.

    Hope all have a wonderful day, Mary and Tom get boat in water and docked, Lee gets his boat wet and all is working good. Cellia is home and straighten Lou out. Lawns are trimmed, gardens plowed, vehicles cleaned.

    • I've been churched and schooled.
    • Second day in a row that I got up at 6am and two more to go. This isn't how retirement is supposed to be.
    • Yay for Madison Methodist Church!
    • After a horrific start to the season the Braves have won 7 of the last 10. Maybe they can claw their way back.
    • I need to go figure out how things in this new whip ride vehicle work.

    Hey folks.

    We've wandered the South Congress area, had brunch, and now she's ruining the whole day with a stop at a Trader Joe's because I obviously needed to be around 4,000 of my closest friends. If Leo were with us, I'd have the perfect excuse to stay outside with him… 🤔

    Hi all. Lovely hike with the hiking group, then walked to an organic farm that was having an open house. Finished with a pizza and beer at the brewery and now watching bike race.

    Pretty nice Sunday.
