Good morning!
Frankie was up before 5:00 again this morning.
My knee is doing better. I am also struggling with ticks. I have had no less than 20+ tick bites this spring. I have treated our yard once, and I'm getting ready to treat it again. Frankie also walks some in the grass at the cemetery. I wear repellant every day and I still get these itty bitty ticks that leave a nasty bite that itches. I am frustrated.
I took the mower deck off yesterday, sharpened the blades on my bench grinder, power washed it, put the deck back on, and balanced it. Now it works better. I have a 42" John Deere riding mower.
Connie says that I nap too much. Maybe 3-4 times a week for about 45 minutes. She, on the other hand, gets a good 2 hours more sleep a night than I do because she does not take Frankie out. I'm curious if you guys nap, or don't.
Have a great day!

Mornin' gents.
Praying for the news that Joanne is OK and can go home.
Naps are healthy, in my opinion. If you need one, and have the time, take it! Obviously, the quality and quantity of your overnight sleep will have an influence on your need for one. Even when I'm at work, if I've had a rough night, a 10 minute power nap while I listen to some soft music works wonders on my afternoon.
I'm on a spaghetti squash binge.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good Morning…
Went for a chest X-ray yesterday after I noticed wheezing on top of all the other symptoms I have. No pneumonia fortunately. Doc hasordered an inhaler if symptoms get worse.
Was able to go for a walk late afternoon, about a mile. And this morning feeling a bit more rested, less congested Maybe finally back up to speed soon.I nap on and off any time I sit too long in an easy chair. Less if I drink too much coffee

Good Morning,
Joanne home, they removed clots and put a filter in that should prevent future clots, also on blood thinners. Have had to increase oxygen.
I have taken a nap after lunch for years even when working would close door and turn off light for about 20 minutes, then ready to go till about 9.

Good morning gentlemen.
Still praying that Joanne can go home, soon. She and Sam have had a rough time of it.
Hope you are recovering, Mike.
I take a good nap a couple time a week. If I am tired, I nap. I don't sleep well at night, much of the time, so I need the extra ZZZs.
I got the new seat covers into he Tacoma, yesterday. My only issue was self-inflicted. I couldn't get a tab loose under the front passenger seat and had to cut two little straps, doing it all by feel. I managed to stab my finger in the process. The perils of keeping your knives razor sharp. Bled like the dickens for a while and left a blood trail in to the first aid kit. Seems like every job I do deserves at least two Band-Aids. The seat covers look great.

Good Morning
Great to hear Joanne is home now and that things seem to be stabilized a bit. What a journey she and Sam have been on this past year or so. Good News on the XRay Mike. Sounds like time and rest is what you need till this thing plays out.
I don't nap generally during the day. I can rest in my recliner but I rarely sleep. But after dinner, watching TV with Heather it is only a matter of time before I doze off. Usually right after a show starts and I wake up when it ends. My sleep is off these days, but when I wake up at 4:30 or 5:30 I take residence in my recliner to at least rest quietly while I read, surf etc. It helps my morning stiffness go away too. Yesterday was a bust for my plans but productive. It turns out our Medicare Supplements insurance addresses were not fully updated. 90 minutes later we got it sorted out and we now show living in Oregon. For some reason this increased our Plan G premiums slightly.
Today I shop to make Skillet Chicken Pot Pie topped with Chedar Biscuits for a crust. We mentioned pot pie a couple days ago and I said I would get one on the menu. Last night Heather was kind enough to impart wisdom unto me that today is the day….and an extra batch of biscuits wouldn't hurt. Then she smiles at me and it is game, set & match.
