Good morning!
Prayers continue for Joanne and Sam. I pray that Joanne finds some comfort and healing.
I have some different tick and bug killer to put on the yard. It is supposed to rain tomorrow night, so I will put it down tomorrow. It needs to be watered in, and with an acre, the only way to do that is before it rains. We are expecting strong storms tomorrow evening/night.
I am planting cucumbers this morning, and Connie want to take our big rubber tree out on the deck and re-pot it. Other than that, not a lot going on. I don't know why I am so late with it, but there will be burgers and brats on the Traeger grill this evening. First time in months!
Have a great day!

Good morning gentlemen.
DGS has a soccer game this morning, then nothing planned for the day. I made a big pot of chili yesterday, so that is supper today, too.

Morning men.
Cool and a foggy mist in the air. Went for a 2-mile walk before breakfast this morning. Figured it would loosen congestion and it sure has. Now sitting on my balcony with coffee listening to the birds and going through boxes of Kleenex. DD may bring some homemade chicken soup this afternoon. Doctor suggested budesonide inhaler but I’ll hold off on that and see how next week or so goes.
Hope your tick killer will work, Steve. Is there something that eats ticks? I think I heard chickens could clear them out…? You could add building a chicken coop to the project list. ;-)
DB & DSIL in NH bought a house in FL, he says selling NH house this year. I hope they’re just downsizing in NH and becoming snowbirds, but could be relocating altogether. He and our cousin are my only remaining family in my generation. And who wants to live in Florida in the summer?Have a good day.

Good Morning
You couldn't pay me to live in Florida, especially in the summer.
We got a few things/chores done yesterday around here. My back was a bit stiff so I took it easy after doing the shopping. Heather asked to go walking so I finally got up and we headed to the beach. Walking usually will help loosen things but not yesterday. Just a gentle breeze blowing so it was a good day for it. The back never loosened so I had to stop a couple times to rest and try to stretch it a bit. In the end we turned back and headed to the car. Still got a couple miles in. I ended up taking a muscle relaxer so I could make dinner. After dinner & making an extra batch of biscuits per Heather's guidance I made some tea sat down to watch TV and promptly zonked out. The big Rhododendron Festival is underway. Town is getting very crowded especially the stores. We likely will head down to check it out. We have heard it gets a little rowdy in the evenings with all the alcohol etc so we will skip that. We will drive part way and walk the rest. Reverse sear another tri tip tonight unless we get back to late.
