    Good morning!

We are expecting sunshine today. We get two days of sunshine and then more rain. I guess that means I am mowing today. I also have several smaller things that I hope to accomplish today.

Bill, I pray that you are doing better.

Sam, and Lee, I pray that you two are healing from your procedures.

    Have a great day!

    Good morning gentlemen.
Had fun getting firewood with DS and DDIL yesterday. I bucked the logs with my chainsaw and they loaded it in the truck. Felt like my old days working in the woods 50 years ago.
Heading down to Salem this morning. We have an appointment to terminate the trust and divide up our mom’s estate. That’s a 3+ hour drive each way. Only bad part is going through Portland. I’ll be dealing with morning rush hour traffic on the way down, so have to add in at least an extra half hour. Sigh.

    Morning…

Somehow missed check-in yesterday. Got out for a 1-mile walk/hike with slight hills and a rocky path along a brook. Lungs and stamina seemed okay. Cold/flu symptoms much better, and this morning started taking Mucinex to hopefully clear the last of the chest congestion. I think I'm done with being sick.

Heard my friend from Bible study finally passed away from her long bout with cancer.

Will get out for a longer hike today, although it's drizzly and in the 40's. The camping trip this weekend got cancelled; forecast looks terrible for hiking in the mountains. It's pretty early in the season for camping in northern Vermont anyway.

Sam, good luck with navigating the doctor appointments and all. Bill, sorry to hear your get-along got hurt and hope it gets better quick. Steve, I struggle still with my weight. I need a live-in fitness coach to stay on target. Lee, how's the knee recovery going? Dave, good luck with your family estate settlement, and the traffic in the big city.

    Onward and downward…

    Good Morning

    Safe Travels Dave.

I need to get out an water with another 60°+ day. My hip is slightly better after a day of rest and walking with the cane, but watering will be a challenge. I will give one more day to turn the corner and if not, head to the Walk-in (or Hobble-in) Clinic tomorrow morning. These are perfect days for walking on the beach. I hate missing them. We too are doing the paperwork to divide my Mom's estate. It was pretty organized and can be done remotely but there is paperwork. I have done mine but am waiting for the specific information required that didn't get sent out. I have some rocking chairs to assemble. I might need to get Heather's help thanks to the hip.

Glad you are doing better Mike. Continued prayers of healing for Joanne, Sam & Lee.

Good luck Dave with handling the family trust.

Glad you are doing a bit better Mike.

Bill: I think we got enough water for awhile so no watering here in PDX.

enjoying the wildlife with an Eagle, lots of Great Blue Herons, Geese and Goslings. Baby ducks too.

    Heal up folks!
