    Morning

    This past weekend was a holiday in Ecuador. Friday was inauguration day. Lots of parties and every soccer and volleyball field had a game going.

    I had kinda forgot it was a holiday in the US today.

    Heading out soon for one last hike. I assume we will end up at the next town over. There is a bakery there where we stop for a cookie. They are similar to a gingersnap but less cinnamon. Ron loves then.

    Afternoon BBB

    I actually watched our small town Memorial Day parade. I loved the kids on their bikes and scooters. I haven't been since my boys were in scouting. It was a complete accident. I was driving home after helping a dog to rainbow bridge, and got stopped to make a detour. I parked and stayed. Therapeutic, and sort of apropos.
