Good morning BBB friends.
Should get well up into the 80s today, warmest day of the year, so far.
Shop time this morning, for my mental health; Rita's errands in the afternoon.

Morning BBB
Today is our super long travel day and our first red eye flight ( only option from Ecuador to Houston without layover) we leave our apartment at 1:30 pm, approximately 2 hour taxi to the airport. Flight is at 12:30 am. There are a couple of lounges so will likely buy our way in at some point. Land in Houston at 6am, Uber to car and hook up battery and hopefully it will start. Planning to drive all day as I would like to make it to Wichita. 9 hours.
I have back up hotel options along the route if we are too tired. But we are meeting friends in Emporia Kansas on Friday for brunch and want to be in Lincoln NE to get our marriage license appostiled before they close on Friday. But all of this can be flexible if necessary. I will probably sleep fine on the plane, I usually can. Unsure about Ron, I'm hoping he can get a few hours between 7:30pm and boarding. The lounge says we can only stay for 3 hours but not sure how strict they are.

Safe travels Steph and Ron! I'm sure it will be good to see family again.
Still raining in Indiana. Did I tell you all that we're officially in "Tornado Alley" now? Not a good alley to be in.. Gee.
Got my hair done today. Looks good.
I think I told you all that Gary got offered and accepted the job at one of our local high schools? He can walk to school now, He starts his new position Mid July. Woo hoo, now we don't have to pay for my health insurance. He only works 180 days a year. Follows the school calendar and doesn't have to show up to work when the kids have a snow day, etc. Pretty easy gig.

Congrats, Gary!
Funny story - I applied (after Gov't RIF) for a high school teaching job in our county that has a SEVERE teacher shortage.Despite a PhD and 20 years experience as Adjunct for 5 Universities: "not qualified" letter! Okie doie.
