    Man, did I need a day off, but alas it was not to be. My phone was blowing up all day. Gonna completely disconnect this weekend. Spaniel Hunt Test in upstate NY. Probably no cell reception at all.

    Are you still doing the bachelor thing, Skip?

    Yankees/Dodgers series starts tonight, but starts so late since on west coast. I will hopefully be fast asleep by the time they throw the first pitch.

    Had another bachelor friend over last night for BBQed pulled pork. He is a serious foodie and he made a broccoli rabe dish with olive oil and chili flakes for a side dish that was amazing. Homemade fagioli beans and homemade corn relish and cold non-alchololic Corona beers. Very good eats. The pulled smoked pork butt was exceptional as well. Dessert was a very alchololic aged Irish Whiskey.

    Off to drop the dog off at daycare early this morning. Cecilia's going to come to the city and we're going to do happy hour tonight before we pick him up.

    How do you take a game into extra innings and still lose by 9? The Mariners know.
    Grandkids are in a talent show at school this morning, then I’ll try to enjoy a very nice, sunny afternoon. Maybe a nap is in order. I slept lousy last night.

    • I've been out and about this morning. A gourmet breakfast at Chick-fila, followed by a review with my State Farm agent, followed by a trip to Home Depot.
    • Lunch at the Augsburg Haus yesterday was great.
    • Sounds like a great evening last night Lee and one coming up for Lou.
    • That is a frustrating end to a ballgame Dave. Then again, your Mariners are still in 1st place.

    How does it feel to be back in NE Steph???

    We are staying home this weekend. Planting my tomatoes and dahillas tomorrow. And I have a Hot date with my dh Sat night, to see the amazing Brit Floyd band, again, live in downtown MKE. I'm not a huge Pink Floyd fan, but will abillge dh since this international cover band puts on a really good show. We haven't seen any live music in much too long.

    No offers on the Harley still. Price drops again....

    Sunday I'm hanging out with my dgs Lil T! 😍
