    Sadly I missed what Skip's countdown was in reference to yesterday.

    Glad to hear you have the better half home, Skip. Bachelorhood is not what it is cracked up to be.

    Wet and chilly weekend for a hunt test in upstate NY. Near the only Stephentown on earth. Lucy did a good job. Lots of interesting characters in attendance.

    Good morning.

    I've been MIA for a bit now, sorry.

    Big weekend and preparation for it. Ds1 and his finance came home for a wedding which he was in in Ohio. We were invited too so went and had a spectacular time. So nice seeing these adult men and how well most of them have turned out. Less than 1 year and he'll be married off too.

    I'm having a procedure today and I'm VERY nervous about it. I have my meds so I'll take before the procedure to calm me down. DH has the day off so he'll drive me and clean house all day since we didn't get to it yesterday.

    Not much else to report other than it's FINALLY going to be warm here this week.

    Steph, How goes it being back in the states?
    Glad Lucy did well yesterday

    Another weekend of looking for the magic pair of shoes. Leo enjoyed his time at Nordstrom Rack though. Ladies kept coming by and petting him in the shopping cart.

    Good to see Kelly!

    I have an ent appt with a new to me doc at 930a stemming from a bad cold and ear infecttion in April that is long gone. Took me this long to get in. Figure l will keep the appt so in future Im an established patient, can get a future appt faster, maybe?

    We got lots of chores in and out done this weekend.

    Temps here finally in the 70s today,maybe 80F tomorrow...

    Skip is getting too cryptic for me to follow. Whatever the issue, hope it turns out well.

    We will have another beautiful day, with sun and 73 degrees. I'll waste the first part of it talking to a financial advisor/manager.

    Hope all the appointments and procedures go well today.

    Morning gang

    II'm Guessing today it's traffic.

    Yesterday My whole family came to the BBQ at my sister's. Even the young adult kids stayed all day. It was delightful. Then we went to the youngest 2's baseball game. Spent the night with them. Headed to dad's today.

    Things I like/ missed about US...bathrooms with TP the flush fully on first try, nice paved roads even the secondary roads, drivers that basically follow traffic rules and drinking tap water.

    What I didn't miss how salty food is, and

    omg how expensive food is. I spent $55 at trader Joe's for 2 salads, a couple snacks and spices, cell phone usage. Literally everyone has it in their hand at all times.

    Here's the fam. Includes 2 significant others and my sisters in laws.

    Looks as Leo does not mind shopping for shoes as much as Lou.

    Me thinks someone has worked from home too much to appreciate metro roads, says one who is retired and complains when he has to slow down to 55.

    Haaaa. yesterday I posted countdown hours to today's start at new gig.

    Today, I posted, TRAFFIC sucked. Bumper to bumper on I-66….I could've opted for "express lanes" for a mere $28!

    First day was uneventful - lots of meet/greets and paperwork. Did I mention this place has a fully stocked Beer Fridge?
