Mornin' gentlemen.

Car went in for squealing noise yesterday and garage put new rear brakes & rotors in my RAV4, and had to replace both left calipers. Glad I didn't need to stop fast… Did more fiddling with piano parts while the car was in the shop. Today going paddling on a pond and up a stream about an hour from here. Supposed to get up to 80º, but a breeze should make it cooler.
My memory is more like a forgettery sometimes, and slowly getting worse as the years go by. Have always had trouble with names from time to time. As long as I remember my own, I figure I'm okay. Went canoeing once but forgot the paddles… I use checklists for things like camping trips, otherwise it would be chaos.
Have a great day. Onward and downward… ;-)

Mornin' gents.
Been super busy and thus MIA.
Field trial last weekend. Mosquitoes were horrible on Saturday. DEET was very helpful. Lucy, aka Miss Naughty Pants, got an amateur placement which also is a requirement to attend the Amateur National in Terre Haut, IN this December.
Work is busy, but a good busy. I am also in the process of getting my Colorado veterinary license. Updated my profile in LinkedIn and already getting lots of hits about jobs in the area.
Got another trial this weekend, then the summer break from dog stuff.
Prayers for Joanne and Sam. Hope that yesterday's appointments were helpful.
Prepping for 43. Impressive.
Congratulations to the graduate!
Been doing dumbell work after riding the bike almost every morning and not feeling excessive muscle soreness or fatigue. This is the first time in at least 4 years that I've felt good after lifting. I'm pretty excited about that.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning!
Lee, great to hear from you. Awesome that you are riding a bike and doing lifting again. It is also good to hear that you are getting more ready to move to Colorado.
Bill, I hope that you and Heather have an awesome anniversary getaway. That is so impressive how long you two have been married.
Sam, prayers continue in earnest for you and for Joanne.
I got the yard treated for ticks, so now those little buggers had better be dead. I will still wear Cutter's for a bit out of caution. We are expecting our first 90 degree day of the season. So it begins. I like summer, but the heat with humidity I can do without.
Today is about doing indoor chores. Yuck.
Have a great day!

Good Morning,
Happy Humping,
Tomorrow we have to leave house at 6:30 a.m. to get Joanne to hospital in Athens, GA. for physical therapy because they removed all lymph nodes from right arm and breast. Have not decided to board Pablo tonight or leave him in crate till we return tomorrow.
Oxygen still required, will start radiation in a couple of weeks.
Congrats to Lucy and her owner!
Hope ticks are gone Steve.
Mike, my memory is not what it used to be, neurologist says I just do not care enough.
I do not have energy to care for small grands.

Good morning gentlemen.
Last full day with the grandkids. DS and DDIL are flying back today, but don't get in until late, so the kids will stay one more night. I don't know that Elsie and Andrew count as "little" anymore. At 12 and 9 they are getting pretty grown up.
Death to the ticks!!!
Hope all appointments go well and are productive.

Good Morning
Lee, I didn't realize you were planning on working once you get to Colorado. Is it hard to get licensed in another state?
PT yesterday was a bit challenging. I went in sore and left with a different soreness. it will take awhile, I'm told, to rebuild strength and overcome the last two years of limited exercise. No beach walks for a spell and now limited to workouts every other day. Drive up here to Newberg was beautiful. We did backroads the first half of the trip. Enjoyed Tuesday Taco Night at a local tacqueria. Quite good. I eat very little Mexican food these days due to my stomach issues but I chose carefully and we left happy. Winery day today and more exploring.
Prayers for Joanne & Sam. I hope the PT is worth the early journey

Getting licensed in CO for me has been pretty simple since I have been practicing in CT for umpteen years. They have what is called reciprocity.

I gotta work to pay for my dog habit. Social security and my 401k don't cover that.

My thoughts and prayers are with you Sam and your DW Joanne.
Luv it Lee ya gotta work to pay for your habit WOOF WOOF! Good on ya Lucy!!! In your placement.
Ya I was pleased with my 1200 foot climb up to Skyline on my bike which I haven't done for awhile. No soreness for me either
Glad you are hanging in there with the PT Bill.
Be as pain free and healthy as you can be and good luck with all treatments.
