    Miss Naughty Pants placed third in the Amateur stakes this past weekend. Amateur National is in Terre Haut this year. Indiana, here we come!

    Dennis, it is a good movie. Worth a watch.

    I understand that DC has a decent metro system. Is that not an option, Skip?

    I need to watch Groundhog Day.

    Porch pots watered already. Gonna be a warm one today. Then back to 60-70s for weekend. Fishing weather I hope. I need to up my fishing game. Is there a class? I need one.

    Kind of rushed this morning. Rita has an appointment at the Army hospital at 9, so we will take the grandkids to their house to wait for the school bus, while we head on up the road to the hospital. Glad the kids are old enough to leave on their own.

    Mary a retail job would severely curtail weekend trips to the lake.

    Ron Realized yesterday that his tablet hasn't been receiving security updates since last fall. Yikes. So that is back in the budget. Both phones will also be replaced this year. That was already planned.

    • Cleaning lady was here this morning, so I went to Mickey Ds for breakfast.
    • Headed to Athens later for a haircut and a Costco run.
    • Working weekends allows you to go to the lake during the week, which is quieter and less busy.
    • Go Miss Naughty Pants. I believe a hundred years ago I sent my Columbia Record Club payments to Terre Haute, IN.
    • I want a picture of Skip on the subway.

    Doc - me and the WMATA (metro) have a love hate relationship. I love to hate them. It's rarely on time; always dirty; hot in the summer and cold in the winter.

    Spent three days writing a 5-page White Paper. First "big project" - waiting on feedback 😎.

    Off to the bowels of DC for a VA appt. Ughhhh.

    Big news, I'm getting a new whip. Yes, you heard it from me. I'm. getting ready to head to Indy in a little while to pick it up. Volvo XC90. White, blonde interior. I've had a black car since 2008. Time for a change. Ultra with all the bells and whistles. WOO HOO. My car is now for sale.

    I've been facilitating a discipleship class at church. One of the guys missed last week because he was at a dog trial. I mentioned I have a Critter Fixer in CT who is big into the dog trial world and showed him a picture of Miss Naughty Pants. He says the trial he was at was in CT and the dog looks familiar. He asked if the Critter Fixer was in the process of moving to CO. Small world, they knew each other from the trial.
