I REALLY hope this is accurate and that I keep going down! It's so exciting getting closer to the 200 mark, then below that! We finally got our above ground pool set up for the Summer so I'm hoping to get some good exercise in that! Just have to better with my eating! It hasn't been too bad, but yesterday did get a bit out of hand with the snacking and sweets! Which is why I was a bit surprised by my weigh in, but yay! I hope to have another loss next week! 😁😊

@blessedgrandma5 another snack to do on the BBQ: cut slices of pineapple with a drizzle of honey, put them in foil and on the bbq

the dr gave me the go ahead to start walking slowly. I had my husband pull out my treadmill. I walked for 30 minutes, slowly and had to hold on a few different times but it felt good. I plan on doing this everyday. We went food shopping on Saturday and I bought some healthy options so I’m not just sitting around eating junk. I have found this past week and half I have been eating a lot of popcorn. I’m hoping being home this summer I can lose a little weight. I plan on focusing on me. Hopefully by end of summer I can get back to doing Zumba or some type of dance class.

@minstrelofsarcasm i left the zebra cakes at the store and bought some yogurt, veggies, salad. I plan on having veggies or salads for lunch. Yogurt or eggs for breakfast and then add in veggies to my dinner. I plan on walking again today. I have been drinking a ton of water. I keep a bottle filled up next to me at all times.

I think I need a little break from weigh-ins. I want to focus more on the mental and emotional aspects of my eating habits and well-being rather than counting calories for a bit. Maybe I can hang out on the support team if that's OK.@melaniedscott Can I also be removed from the step counts for now?

Feel free to keep us posted here in the chat on how you're doing. Want to aim to return for August, take six-ish weeks off or so? Let me know how long of a break you think would serve you best.

Yesterday I was 197.0 and today I was 196.4. I am not happy with it but I am seeing that my clothes are fitting better and I can do more run intervals and at a longer time. Today I did a jog interval for an entire minute. I know I retain water big time and I know I am swollen because I can't wear my wedding ring.

@blessedgrandma5 - if your clothes are fitting better AND you're seeing performance improvements, does it really matter what the number on the scale is? It sounds like you're in a state of recomposition, replacing fat with muscle.

I am really happy to finally see a shift. I have been consistent logging and trying to stop bad habits as well as exercising more. I had my first personal training session and really enjoyed it. It is out of my price range long term but I will try do do a few months and see what happens

my husband and I are doing a sugar fast for two weeks. I’m kind of surprised that I didn’t lose more but at least I’m heading in the right direction. I only worked out once this week (strength training)but hopefully this week I will prioritize exercise and getting my steps in and continue to eat healthy.1 -
