Good morning!
The supervisor in charge approved all of the painting with exception of a couple small touch ups. I'll do that this morning, and then start taking down plastic. Still a lot of work to do, but if we can start using the bathroom again, then I can do the other work more easily.
Found another tick this morning after watering the garden last night. I need to put down more material in the yard.
I feel like I've totally lost my balance between tasks, fun, and rest. This seems to be a constant theme with me.
Prayers for peace and healing in our world. Prayers for healing in our Men's Group family.

Good morning gentlemen.
The weather takes a turn for the better today. That's a good thing, because we are moving to a nearby state park for the next few days. Check-in time is 2:30. I expect the boss will have plenty for me to do before then. We haven't been camping for several years and Rita laments that she is out of practice. Camping 15 minutes from the house will make things easier. Anything we forget can be easily retrieved.
This will be Sassy's first camping trip. It will be interesting to see how she adapts to the change in her routine.

Mornin’
Tried to hike earlier and the mosquitoes were so thick in the forest I eventually turned around. Was able to set a chair by the open lake shore there where there were no bugs, and sat half an hour chatting with a fisherman. Enjoyable way to start the day.
Going up to 90’s next few days and the AC repair guy can’t come till Thursday.
Lee, nice catches. Pike are always exciting to land.
Dave, have fun camping—I bet Sassy will love it.
I have some bathroom repairs to do—- tile grout and bathtub caulk. The fixtures are all original from early 70s, but if it ain’t broke don’t fix it I say. Also general painting is probably overdue. And then the carpet needs replacing and some windows…. I’m tired already just thinking about it. Will take the rest of the day off, at least from thinking.
Have avoided sugar for over week, except a toasted marshmallow the other night.
Enjoy the summer weather.0 -
Nice work Lee with all the fishing and tips. Glad I don't have ticks here in my neighborhood.
Gonna warm up a bit into pleasant lo 80degrees but not humid.
Cheers

Good Morning
Steve, congratulations on passing inspection. Enjoy your return to camping, Dave. I am sure Sassy will handle it well since she will be with you and Rita. I continue to work on my return to fitness and health. I have to walk in the morning it seems. I start to get sore in the afternoon. But I will stick to the slow but steady plan. The scale is smiling on my improved and healthier eating habits which is encouraging. Vacuuming and mopping will be cherry atop my day. Beautiful weather continues

Good Afternoon,
Continues HOT and HUMID, similar to northeast but everyone down here has air conditioning in homes and vehicles.
Took DW to radiologist this morning, they cannot start till her breast has healed, estimate at least two months.
Physical torture continues, believe shoulder is improving.
Did ride Toad to store yesterday, will get out more offend as time and energy permits. Problem is having to move one car out to get toad out and not supposed to leave vehicle in driveway or garage doors open.
Nice fishing trip Lee.
Glad you got approval on painting Steve.
Know I would be much better if I avoided sugar.
