    I swear I posted. Grrrr….

@Dennis - "maybe three" - most days, its less than that!

100% no chance of rain yesterday. 100 degree heat. Great day to stretch the Vette; top down. Parked nicely at office. Life is Good.

UNTIL the universe decided to take umbrage with my cockiness!

CRACK! By the time I heard the thunder and ran outside, it was already raining. Caught it early, but still messed up a great day! Ugh!

Today I finally am exercising a WFH. Tucker is happy I am back in my home office.

    Enjoy!

    Skipper

    Afternoon BBB

Super Congrats on being 55#s down from a year ago, Mary! Woo hoo! You must feel amazing.

Hot weather has broken here. Cooling as the day goes on, 65 degrees outside right now. Feels downright chilly!

Recruiter had me write up a CV for Colorado job hunt. First one in 34 years. "Old man, take a look at my life…"

    Thanks!

I do feel better! Id like to lose some more yet. I have fasting labs and go see the wl doc in a couple weeks.

Sun was out, then dark clouds rolled in at noon, loud thunder and power out and poured hard. 10 min. later power on, and rain over. Its so hot now!

When is CO moving day, Lee?

Steph? How is bird watching going?

    Good afternoon BBB friends.
Still here in the great outdoors. To be honest, I am ready to get back to the house, but I am out voted.

    Doc - RIGHT!

Suddenly, I am the "old guy" in the working world!

To solidify that point - yesterday, I wore a nice linen white sportcoat - sleeves pulled up past forearm, baby blue shirt, blue jeans, with blue suede shoes (shouldve taken a photo).

During a team meeting, one of my colleagues remarked, "Skip! You always dress to impress" (mind you these are a bunch of programming types wearing tee shirts and blue jeans, hats on backwards).

I remarked, "THANKS! I'm trying my best to pull of a Don Johnson, Miami Vice look!"

I SWEAR TO GOD, they all looked at me with glazed eyes. When they started to pick up their phones (presumably to Google Miami Vice/Don Johnson) - I immediately felt deflated.

LOU - you can feel the pain in this post, right?

    Hey folks.

I feel that deeply in my soul, Skip. Over summer a bunch of 20 y/o kids parked outside my office look at me like I arrived in Texas in a covered wagon.

Congrats, Mary! That's an amazing accomplishment!

Wait till you are 15 to 20 years older than now when everyone thinks you are washed up and know nothing, yet when a problem comes up you have a solution question is will anyone listen

Joanne is back in hospital with infection, hopefully will get to come home Friday or Saturday. Need to get breast healed where she can start radiation.

    Congrats Mary!!!

To me roughing it is Days Inn
