Good morning!
Frankie woke me up at 5:00 again this morning. I need to reset her alarm clock.
I did a bunch of physical labor yesterday, and I'm feeling it today. Today will be more of an indoor rest type day.
Bill, I have seen you mention Whole Foods a time or two. Do you go to the physical store or also get some of it off Amazon? I still want to visit a Sprouts that we have fairly close to the house.
My frustration with the old little mower is growing. I have not used that mower in at least five years. It is a 2004 year model. I took off the carburetor and cleaned the bowl, and visible jets. I didn't take out the main jet. When I reassembled, it started, but was leaking. I took it back off, checked the gaskets, and it is not leaking, but won't start again. Sigh…. I am learning patience. I am also learning that I can replace it for about $30. I want to try to fix it myself first.
Hot, sticky and humid now for several days. I guess we need that to get the tomatoes to do their thing.

morning men
Epoxied the piano bridge cracks early this morning, while it was cool out so I could open the windows in case of fumes. Actually only took 1/2 oz of epoxy and was done in a couple hours.
Carburetors are persnickety. Very satisfying when things finally run well after all the fiddling and cursing.
Off this afternoon to dogsit for Rosie the Bernese mountain dog. Laziest thing on earth, though she’s getting old. Nice friendly dog unless she meets another dog and goes into attack mode.
Have to be careful of food in DD’s house while I’m there, maybe have to shop for my own food to stay safe.
Have a good day.0 -
Gosh I luv Bernese Mt Dogs Very nice indeed.
In this wacky weather year my neighbor gave me a Siletz tomato plant which I planted in a very large pot with a red wall-o-water type thing. Yesterday I harvested a 12.6 OZ tomato, my first of the year. I figured it was over a 1/2 lb and not a whole pound so I guessed right. Going to have a real BLT today. I try to reserve having BLT for only homegrown tomatoes. Also harvested one small Stupice tomato to put on an individual pizza which I shared with DW.
Cheers all.

Mornin' gents.
A muggy high of 81 today.
Started with a nice work out at home.
Am at dealership getting service.
Then heading to the gun range to fire my new to me Kimber Compact.
Then grocery shopping.
Then some yard werk.
A BLT sounds really good.
Onward and downward ;-)

Good morning gentlemen.
Still praying for Joanne and Sam. Sometimes it seems like he should have chosen the nickname Job.
Mike, I used some 5-minute epoxy yesterday, too. There is a slight aroma, but I have never heard of epoxy giving off anything I'd describe as "fumes." In my case, I was filling some drying cracks in a walnut bowl. Mixed the epoxy with gold mica powder, to provide contrast with the wood color.
Hang in there on the mower, Steve. Think of the satisfaction when you finally get it running.

Good Morning
Prayers continue for Joanne, Sam, Connie & Bob.
Good Day yesterday. I ended up hiring the guy who came out to quote my lawn and yard project. I liked him. He loaded his trailer with more than half of my lawn and was back at 7am to take out the rest. At this point I may as him for a price on doing the back after all. Heather likes Jurrasic Park movies so yesterday we all headed off to see the new one. At least it had Scarlett Johansson in it. Your life will not be lessened any if you miss this one. Off for bloodwork today and a couple errands.
